Yeah Hollow can change size, plus in the new lore teaser there's 1 group that push the Darkwall 37km back singlehandedly, imagine 1 ether mob = 1 meter, 1 elite = 10m, and 100m for a boss. And if that group pushed it back that far, lady Sunbringer deleted the Hive Lord hollow in the sky... Solo mode

54:30 with what the rescue mission plan for chapter 1 presented. Hollows can increased in size base on the number of ethereal inside of the hollow and the amount of elite ethereal. Keep in mind any living organism the moment they enter the hollow will turn into an ethereal with time (they only have ether aptitude to slow it down) which would cause the hollow to expand more.
Chapter 1 presented that to save the citizen they needed to shrink the hollow by either killing a thousand small ethereal or killing the dead end butcher.
With this its seems like a vicious cycle. People get trapped in a hollow. They became an ethereal. The hollow gets bigger. The hollow traps more people. This is probably why Hollow Zero is the biggest hollow in lore since it is basically ground zero and people didn't know who it worked which cause Old Eridu to fall.

wait us meeting sons of calydon in possibly chapter 4 or 3.5 actually makes sense i have no idea why i didn’t think of that. But i don’t know how sons of calydon would actually know anything about the sacrifice.
If they make us go through a 3.5 it could actually tie back into pubsec since 2 new members got announced recently.
I mean to be fair u doubt they know much, but they're help would be nice, and while riding on the outskirts, it would be hard to ignore a gaint blimp passing by in a area that's supposed to be abandoned so who knows

I'm also guessing they're next since we can see Piper and Lucy around the city, tho I think you have to beat chapter 2 first? They might like to tease the next factions like that, since in Chapter 1 you can see Belobog employees, and in Chapter 2 you can sometimes see Ellen and her friends. Just a guess so far tho.
