I would also add that if every character was destined to die, what's even the point in forming attachments to them if we're just going to have to say bye to them later? I would even go so far as to say that killing off characters makes them less characters and more like inanimate tools to be used at the whims of the player. But that's just me.

So, this is coming later, and I just finished this chapter. Can I just say, as a grown, 40 year old gamer. This was some absolutely incredible writing. The intensity of this chapter was felt the whole time and left me needing and wanting more in the best way. The voice cast is perfection. Truly a 10/10 for the voice casting of Reverse 1999. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see the crescendo, and it fully delivered. I was jaw dropped and pearls clutched the whole time. 37, Kakania, Lucy are such endearing characters. This game is such a beautiful gem, and I'm so thankful I tried it out.

After Roccia's Companion Quest please check out Encore's Quest it was a cute story too 🥰 I "built pity" for Phoebe and got a 5 star at the 3rd 10 pull and got Calcharo and after Calcharo was Roccia lmao it was a mixed between regret and happiness since I was glad to lose 5050 for Phoebe but got a Roccia after instead.

I love Ellen even more after this. Its such a perfect story for her and was very sweet and wholesome. I don’t know why everyone hates on poor Ruby she is just a silly irresponsible girl who honestly reminds me a lot of Burnice. Also I’m still unsure about exactly how old Ellen is. The only thing for certain is she is over 18. However I’m not sure if she is actually in High School based on Lynns comment about her graduation and picking her current school. I’m guessing they go to either a prestigious college that requires a uniform or some kind of intermediary school between high school and college. However I very well could be wrong about the school theory as I’m only slightly aware of how the Japanese school system works and have no idea about how other asian school systems work.

Apparently Ruby’s secret is she goes commando. The “it’s empty” in Chinese is apparently slang in Chinese for going without underwear. Edit: Also the reason Ellen was saying she needed to move schools was because she is technically doing illegal work. She is a hollow raider. So she’d have to move and get a new identity from VH.
