Terrelle Pryor was a great college quarterback. He'll be even better as an NFL QB. He is the total package. What I like most about him is he has been hated on since his senior year in college and has overcome all the hate to excel at the top level of college football.
His throwing motion looks way smoother and he seems alot more confident with his release. Looks a bit higher and crisper. This guy is putting in the work and I'm hoping for good success for him. Always happy to see a Buckeye play on Sunday!

Let's forget about the allegations for just a second and think about the quality athlete in Terrelle Pryor. He can become a good quarterback if he learns to throw the ball like he is here. Pryor isn't just all legs. Yes he runs fast but he can also throw a nice ball. If he hones his accuracy and becomes a better pocket passer as well as he is a scrambling quarterback we can start to make a Michael Vick comparison. From an Ohio St. fan who watched almost every snap TP took......the Out pattern is TP's worst throw and I see it in this video. His Out pattern throw is slow with not enough on it. So many times this was almost intercepted or was picked in college which translates into automatic INTs in the NFL.
everyone forgets that he's got a qb coach to help him like tebow did the nfl trys to find anything not to pay you. it's a job interview and lets say you cant type fast that just costed you 2.50 worth of money. he's learning how to throw it better than what he was so-called taught at osu.and what better than throwing to a NFL vet. who knows every route.
#TIP Terrelle Pryor needs to explode out when taking snaps from underneath the center. Defensive lineman are a bit faster in the league then in college so he has to get to his depth faster. Just something i noticed. But great work!
yup. pryor is an interesting prospect. his footwork looks a little awkward, but he made some nice throws. just gotta work on mechanics and being a pocket passer first. i hope he'll be starting in maybe 2 years, after the raiders are done with palmer.
@jwb864 It's all timing. If you have been doing it since you were a little kid, it would be second nature for you. Most QB's are extremely accurate in practice situations... It's when they get in a game with 6'6 linemen infront of them that it gets hard to be accurate :P

His frosh year he would always throw like 7-13 now he's going 25-33 puttin up yards finding the open man. He was on his way to a Troy smith type of senior season. Still needs work but I think he can play in the league.

honestly his release looks really slow and not very 'firm'. Maybe hes not going at 100% but im not very impressed with this. Most of those throws were easy and he barely zipped any in there. Good luck to you pryor, it should be interesting to watch.
from the looks of it , pryor looked ok throwing the ball out there. his interview with gruden couldve been alot better though!! he needs to learn how to talk clearer & stop studdering , but all in all , hes still my favorite player.
There is a reason why he is not a highly covenant quarter back, his drop back footwork is no where near as good as Cam Newton... (Cam Newton was never know for his drop back footwork.) Plus you need to take his character in to account. I would not want to risk a pick on him.

All of these throws are accurate and strong. Footwork can be fixed. But you cant teach when it comes to accuracy and arm strength, TP just has it.
