This drama is truly showing how important upbringing is, both Mehreen and Saffan’s fathers passed away, but look at how each of them turned out and how different their mom’s took the situation. One mom remarried and the other decided to focus on her son and look at which kid is thriving and has such a healthy and positive outlook on life. I’ve become a fan of Saffan and his family. Even if Mehreen doesn’t “love” Saffan but love isn’t just childhood love, love is also about trust between each other, compassion and loyalty, all the things asfad does not have.
There is nothing wrong in getting remarried for a single mom. However, it should be done after the mother is self dependent financially and finds a man of her own liking. Not married off in another arranged marriage situation by a bitch of a mother of her own. Men get remarried ALL the time .

Aswad is acting exactly the way any ordinary person will, in such situation. We, the audience, are watching this narrative from both mehreen's and mashal's side. Aswad didn't see mehreen since childhood. He is judging mehreen in the light of what he's been listening from mashal about her. And yes, he is feeling guilty now so like any other person he is looking for a scapegoat to get rid of this guilt. and for that he is going to avenge mashal by marrying mehreen mansoor
My problem with that is... who believes someone when all they ever do is badmouth someone else? Aswad believed everything Mashal told him about Mehreen without any proof and never once considered what motive she had for constantly telling him awful things about Mehreen who he rarely spoke to and whenever he did, never said anything about Mashal. A wiser person would be suspicious of someone who is always talking about someone else. Instead Aswad accepted Mashal's testimony about Mehreen without corroboration. Dismissed his own mother's judgement and ignored the very obvious reality that living in someone else's home with people who have no trouble speaking badly about her father in front of her must have been difficult for Mehreen. Meanwhile, I don't know why the maid seems to have it out for Mehreen, but she's known about the way Mashal harassed Mehreen and would go into her room and destroyed her things all along and never said anything. Now she's trying to make her a murderer instead of admitting she doesn't actually know anything about what happened that night. She didn't see Mehreen put sleeping pills in Mashal's tea. She never saw sleeping pills in Mehreen's room or in her person. And that's another point no one is discussing, if Mehreen drugged Mashal, where did she get the pills? They didn't just show up out of nowhere. She had to get them somewhere, where did she get them, how did she get them? Where is the evidence linking her to the murder weapon? If she used a gun, everyone would be trying to trace the gun's purchase, so where's the proof of a connection between Mehreen and the pills?
Why is Mehreen being swung around like a ping pong ball? She is an adult, an educated young woman...has a mind of her own...Saffan may not be her love interest but is the strong guy who is always beside her.... Mehreen, please think clearly..... Liking the policemans acting! Title track is very good.

Actually Mehreen had broken up the engagement with Saffan. She had proposed to him first and his mom had welcomed her with open arms. Then Mehreen broke up very cruelly with Saffan when ASWAD's proposition came.. She should have married Saffan.. All the extra masala could have been avoided. If you put yourself in Mehreen’s shoes, it’s not easy going through so much trauma with her family broken - dad dying and mother remarrying. Meereen has anger against her mother for abandoning her as a kid as she refused to take her along to her second husband’s place and at her grandmother’s place she is at the mercy of her aunty, uncle and constant attacks by her cousin sister. This all has impacted Mehreen’s well being and that’s why she is shown helpless and not ready to marry at this stage for all that she has been going through . However, she loves Aswad’s mother dearly because she has stood by her through thick and thin since childhood and respects the decision she makes for Mehreen. I don’t mind the story, they are trying to portray how you can sometimes be mislead by the opinion of others and when you realise the truth it’s too late. Sorry this is just my two cents 😀😀😀

Khala messed up really, really badly by not approving of Mashal's marriage with Aswad. She may have had "good intentions," but none of this vicious cycle would have occurred if that decision was not taken. Another selfish decision, which started the whole deteriorating family cycle, was the harsh reaction of family members to the problems that Mehreen's dad was in. If they stuck by him and helped him reform, as he clearly wanted, things may have unfolded quite differently in Mehreen's life.

This drama is truly showing how important upbringing is, both Mehreen and Saffan’s fathers passed away, but look at how each of them turned out and how different their mom’s took the situation. One mom remarried and the other decided to focus on her son and look at which kid is thriving and has such a healthy and positive outlook on life.
I’ve become a fan of Saffan and his family. Even if Mehreen doesn’t “love” Saffan but love isn’t just childhood love, love is also about trust between each other, compassion and loyalty, all the things asfad does not have.

Aswad is acting exactly the way any ordinary person will, in such situation. We, the audience, are watching this narrative from both mehreen's and mashal's side. Aswad didn't see mehreen since childhood. He is judging mehreen in the light of what he's been listening from mashal about her. My problem with that is... who believes someone when all they ever do is badmouth someone else? Aswad believed everything Mashal told him about Mehreen without any proof and never once considered what motive she had for constantly telling him awful things about Mehreen who he rarely spoke to and whenever he did, never said anything about Mashal. A wiser person would be suspicious of someone who is always talking about someone else. Instead Aswad accepted Mashal's testimony about Mehreen without corroboration. Dismissed his own mother's judgement and ignored the very obvious reality that living in someone else's home with people who have no trouble speaking badly about her father in front of her must have been difficult for Mehreen.
Meanwhile, I don't know why the maid seems to have it out for Mehreen, but she's known about the way Mashal harassed Mehreen and would go into her room and destroyed her things all along and never said anything. Now she's trying to make her a murderer instead of admitting she doesn't actually know anything about what happened that night. She didn't see Mehreen put sleeping pills in Mashal's tea. She never saw sleeping pills in Mehreen's room or in her person. And that's another point no one is discussing, if Mehreen drugged Mashal, where did she get the pills? They didn't just show up out of nowhere. She had to get them somewhere, where did she get them, how did she get them? Where is the evidence linking her to the murder weapon? If she used a gun, everyone would be trying to trace the gun's purchase, so where's the proof of a connection between Mehreen and the pills?

If you put yourself in Mehreen’s shoes, it’s not easy going through so much trauma with her family broken - dad dying and mother remarrying. Meereen has anger against her mother for abandoning her as a kid as she refused to take her along to her second husband’s place and at her grandmother’s place she is at the mercy of her aunty, uncle and constant attacks by her cousin sister. This all has impacted Mehreen’s well being and that’s why she is shown helpless and not ready to marry at this stage for all that she has been going through . However, she loves Aswad’s mother dearly because she has stood by her through thick and thin since childhood and respects the decision she makes for Mehreen. I don’t mind the story, they are trying to portray how you can sometimes be mislead by the opinion of others and when you realise the truth it’s too late. Sorry this is just my two cents 😀😀😀

Khala messed up really, really badly by not approving of Mashal's marriage with Aswad. She may have had "good intentions," but none of this vicious cycle would have occurred if that decision was not taken. Another selfish decision, which started the whole deteriorating family cycle, was the harsh reaction of family members to the problems that Mehreen's dad was in. If they stuck by him and helped him reform, as he clearly wanted, things may have unfolded quite differently in Mehreen's life.
