    Really nice clear explanation of the basics. The real mind blowing moment though is at 4:20 (coincidence?). Whoah! I had no idea that was possible. Thanks for putting this together.

    I'm demystifying this little critter one step at a time, but your patient explanations are hugely helpful. Thank you 🙏

    Your content quality is siqnificantly better than many channels with large patreon's.
    I respect your sentiment (and your work/ethics), but the market clearly disagrees.
    I would gladly support a patreon with 0 expectations/conditions/strings attached, love your format/style, would love to free that artistic process from any current external constraints, and I suspect I'm not alone with this sentiment.
    This channels fits seamlessly in my feed between the likes of RMR, loopop, Ricky Tinez, cuckoo, and others, just say'n.

    Super helpful videos thank you. How do I change the color of my blank chains? It would make my screen some much easier to read. Edit: it was my theme that made all my chains the same brightness/color

    6:40 When I clone chains on song view, and I want to paste the chains I cloned from (which has now been overwritten) it doesn’t work. In selection mode, when the chains are selected, I press shift edit, and all chains are cloned to new empty chains. This works fine. But when I go to the line below and try pasting the old chains, nothing gets inserted. Any ideas? Seems to work for you, at 6:40

      Hmmm, that’s interesting - cloning doesn’t copy it seems, so if you clone a chain, you’ll still need to copy it if you want another instance of it
      -so cloning is a function separate from copying, even tho they use similar key commands
      I hope that helps, if not, jump on the m8 discord community- they’re around for help 24/7 !!!

    If you're talking about cloning you should probably mention deep cloning too

    Thanks Soffter but doesn't pressing Edit duplicate your last entry as opposed to copying whatever chosen selected cell?

    • @soffter
      @soffter  3 года назад +1

      yep! but it only holds one value per column of data when you do that, the selection mask lets you duplicate whole rows, columns, or even both at the same time!
