At the age of 30 by now and my first horror game being Code Veronica I had played at the age of 12, I always considered myself an utterly hardened horror-maniac that no movie or game of this genre can make feel any impact on anymore, until I recently played this game on an emulator and got a freakin nightmare of her screaming/laughing while shaking her head in that disturbing way and I was like -_-* tf brain u actually serious
FunnyGaming same would’ve loved a rule of rose 2 on the PS4 or better remastered the og rule of rose with better graphic and combat but still keep to the original style of the game oh and love haunting ground too 10/10
I think haunting ground deserves a remake. It would be more appreciated and understood today and they’d be able to work out the kinks and make it a more enjoyable experience. However remaking it into the modern engine may probably remove its charm. The way the camera and movement works is an interesting product of its time and making it into something like resident evil could change the feeling entirely. Although, the game would definitely be less frustrating. I’d also personally want them to change her costumes. It’s a story about a woman’s loss of anatomy and putting her into sexy costumes just feels wrong; the frog costume is sexy though they should keep that
