    Supply Razor
    ~shareasale.com...
    Some ask, why is a single blade razor better? I answer the question and review the Supply Single Edge Pro in this fine video. I even cut myself on camera. That's right; blood, sweat and tears. Okay no tears...the things I do for this channel. I do go over my journey and why a single blade razor is better and review the Supply Single Edge Pro with all the fine details.

    That is by far the most honest introduction in a video related to cartridge and safety razors! Everyone that talks about safety razors is pushing the purchase of safety razors….not you! So a big thank you to you!
    And I will stick with my Gillette, pro glide power, and Gillette skin guard razors. I get a wonderful shave from both of these razors, never cut myself, no nicks, no irritation, just a clean, smooth shave. Whereas, every time I try a safety razor, and I mean every single time I used a safety razor, I got cuts and nicks. To me, safety razors, suck!

      Alum block for me.
      It's an astringent and feels rather nice, I keep my in a cool place and it feels super soothing. Disinfects, cleans, soothes, and it's also a styptic; stops bleeding, or in my case, that pesky weeping mole.

    I tried the new SE* for the first time with its new knick-stop guard and it’s my favorite razor I’ve ever owned! I came from the Single Edge Pro too and my pet peeve was how much hair i noticed got stuck in it. However, it was probably my fault since I’m still new to making a good shaving lather so I’m going to try using the marble bowl Supply has and see how it works! As always, I appreciate your videos. You’ve inspired me to shave better and I can’t thank you enough and I’ve gotta say, you deserve a lot more subscribers :)

    I’ve been going through more than a few of your videos lately, because i love the film style -it feels quite authentic- and am thinking of moving away from my gillette to a single/double blade razor or even a straight razor. I have a very steady hand but i have heard it’s rather tricky to pick up so i was perusing for a middle ground when i found your content. I’m also learning new things that could improve my shave like the oil you use, shaving against the grain, or even the ice cube trick, i’m currently looking at the supply SE still searching. Thank you for your wonderful help!

My first safety razor was an ajustable one using rotation knob at the base of the handle, it was a cheap razor from china and it was not great at all. After trying about a dozen different safety razors, I settled on the Razorock BBS A. My favorite blades are Wilkinson Sword by Gillette (made in india), my favorite brush is a Yaqi Tuxedo knot and my favorite soap is Stirling. Thanks for the video. If I may: try shorter strokes. You'll cut yourself less using that technique. Your strokes are rather long.

    Hey did you preorder the razor because I preorder the se starter kit and was supposed to ship July 1st and yet to receive anything

      Whoa?! July 1st?! Supply is not a big company pretty much a husband-wife team, but that is a looong wait. I reached out to him months ago to get the razors to review. Have you tried emailing them?

    • @alejandroluna9982

      Yes I emailed them several times and have yet to get anything back last time I got an update was the 14th and after that nothing

    Bro.. did I make a mistake buying this just now? :/ I usually use Gillettes on my face and head.

    • @FashionableFather
      @FashionableFather  Год назад

      Have you tried the razor yet? The title is mostly clickbait. But in all honesty if you love Gillette and you don’t get irritation why change right? But I LOVE supply. I wholeheartedly believe in one blade on my skin. I had trouble with irritation on my neck and DE safety razors helped big time.

    I have been shaving with DE razors for several years. I purchased the Supply as an impulse buy. I didn't find it very appealing. I don't like the proprietary blades nor the slick handle. Also, a bummer for me was that it manufactured in China.

    • @FashionableFather
      @FashionableFather  Год назад

      That’s a shame. DE razors are definitely more flexible in the shaving process. The blades are not proprietary; amzn.to/3VlQDe4

    What’s the difference between a double edge (blade on each side)saftey razor and this singe edge pro?

    • @FashionableFather
      @FashionableFather  Год назад +1

      The supply pro for me has been the closest shave I’ve gotten. But with most double edge raxors seem to have more flexibility as far as angles. Make sense?

      @@FashionableFather thank you for the response time . Do you think this razor can cause ingrown hairs or is it designed not to in your opinion? I’m prone to ingrown if the hair is cut beneath the skin. And can you put a feather blade in. It or do you have to use the ones they supply
