My mom's favorite fish, other than cod or tilapia, is tuna. I tolerated it as a kid, but as an adult, if I can sub out tuna and put salmon in a casserole, I will. I much prefer salmon's flavor and texture. I once tried mackerel, but unfortunately, it's too much like tuna for my liking. 😅

Great ideas, loved everyone! I use Campbell's Healthy Request cream soups in casseroles instead of the original and a lower sodium ham off the bone from the deli(use in my scalloped potatoes and ham). I love looking for low or no sodium options(wish there was more out there truly). Reducing where ever we can(as my Mom did, basically a no salt/low salt household), it worked, 62 yrs old no high blood pressure!
Absolutely! In any of my recipes you can lower the sodium by doing just that, Carolyn. And you can also substitute salt for Mrs. dash or other types of seasonings that are lower sodium. Thank you so much for your tip and have a great week🙌🏼

Oh THANK YOU SO MUCH for NOT using broccoli in these dishes!!! So many sheet pan and casserole dishes contain broccoli and it's really refreshing to see someone cooking without it being one of the main ingredients. VERY grateful, thank you Julia. x
One of my favorite easy "dump and go" casserole dishes is a Mexican casserole I make by layering the bottom of a baking dish with cooked rice, then I put a layer of refried beans on top of that. Then a layer of taco-seasoned ground beef or shredded chicken. Then I top the meat with black beans seasoned with a little Adobo seasoning. Then crushed up tortilla chips. Then rice. Pop it into the oven for about 25-30 minutes. Serve it with sour cream and salsa!
That sounds really good!! I would leave the meat off of mine though I would have to make two pans so my husband could have meat on his. We would both be eating it for days!! 😅

My Mom taught us how to cook, she had to, she was a working single mom, by age 6 I could put a chicken in the oven, boil potatoes and crack open a can of Green Giant Green Beans. We Love cookin'

I made the Cheesy Chicken Casserole last night, and let me tell you how easy and how much we loved it. I didn't have mushrooms, so I roasted carrots in my air fryer to almost done, then sliced and added them in, and baked. Very good, thanks.
I just found your channel and love it! I made the Alfredo one, added frozen broccoli and corn, sauteed onions and red pepper. I had to cook it in two trays and enough food for an army! Excellent!! Thank you

I made the chicken mushroom pasta casserole for meal prep. I used low fat mozzarella and low fat sour cream and it was super high in protein and not too many calories! Loved it!!

I have to admit, I was not at all pleased with your previous videos, but I saw something in a list and decided to try your videos once more. I am very impressed with this set of recipes. Now these are new, and easy. I am not impressed with cheap spices of any kind. Due to the fact that most of them are not even a real spice as they say, I always use fresh. But like I said, I was impressed, and I am hard to impress, lol.

Yum. These all look so good. And they all look easy. I love casseroles. My husband doesn’t really. But if he wants to eat he will learn to like casseroles. My mom used to make them a lot. Evidently his mom did not. My mom worked and didn’t have much time to make dinner. And she wasn’t the greatest cook. Too bad You Tube wasn’t around when I was a kid. I love anything Alfredo. And I think my husband does too. Thanks for more great recipes.

A $6 bag of frozen potatoes with a quarter (at best) of red and green surely isn't cheap so it can't be what you meant.

I made the chicken mushroom pasta casserole for meal prep. I used low fat mozzarella and low fat sour cream and it was super high in protein and not too many calories! Loved it!!

I have to admit, I was not at all pleased with your previous videos, but I saw something in a list and decided to try your videos once more. I am very impressed with this set of recipes. Now these are new, and easy. I am not impressed with cheap spices of any kind. Due to the fact that most of them are not even a real spice as they say, I always use fresh. But like I said, I was impressed, and I am hard to impress, lol.

Yum. These all look so good. And they all look easy. I love casseroles. My husband doesn’t really. But if he wants to eat he will learn to like casseroles. My mom used to make them a lot. Evidently his mom did not. My mom worked and didn’t have much time to make dinner. And she wasn’t the greatest cook. Too bad You Tube wasn’t around when I was a kid. I love anything Alfredo. And I think my husband does too. Thanks for more great recipes.

Great idea putting tex mex seasoning in that breakfast casserole. I make mine in the crockpot with added onion, bell pepper, and bacon.
