    All Springbok coaches should have an in-depth public interview like this once a year. What a legend!

    Rassie has lived through the history of S.A rugby when apartied was at its peak. He's seen and heard it all, seen and lived the struggles. This man had worked so hard on himself he is able to live the right path because he is not wrong. I love the spring Bok,lm From NZ!!

    Rassie's honesty and straightforwardness is refreshing. No more riddles and uncertainty. Reminds me of Heyneke. Full of passion for the jersey. Its all about the team, not the coach, or individuals, and especially not skin colour. Just the jersey and the country. All the best Rassie

      Well @ the end Meyer was full of riddles. If you remember how he picked the 2015 squad it was all riddles and mind games

    Wow amazing coach, man, South African. SA rugby is in safe hands with this man. The way he answered about transformation was eloquent and practical rather than put a number to a target. Viva Bokkie Viva

    I use the word genius likely, but he definitely is, from his strategic planning to execution and succession planning. He manages the bias media brilliantly and is always thinking about how it will effect the Boks. They way he turned the Boks into a World Cup winning side utilising key management and support staff was and is superb. Very special person, Rassie for President.

    Massive respect for Eramus I have. He was the manager of all SA rubgy, had to take the springboks(which in theory isone step below in termsof hierarchy) and got the world championship. And now he's going down to manager again! Great example

    The most visionary discussion on bok rugby I’ve ever heard, remember we have the dumb version of Strualli, that should never be repeated. This was pure rugby vision and it’s 2024, my first viewing of this interview. No need for Rassie to be as apologetic now but would like to hear the discussion on planning forward as in depth as this.

    My advice is for rassie and boks to retreat for at least 6months prior to RWC2019 kick off, on Pacific Island such as Palawan. Such isolated environment will ensure total and focussed final preparation. Nobody knows rugby here. Perfect!!!!!!! Think man... Think

    The explanation around substitution of Bongi is insulting.

    • @theultimatesharpshooter6734

      How? It was a fair response considering where Bongi came from.

    • @andilengidi9908
      @andilengidi9908 6 лет назад

      Where did Bongi come from&how is that related to him being substituted after an over throw?

    • @theultimatesharpshooter6734
      @theultimatesharpshooter6734 6 лет назад +19

      Did you even watch the interview. Bongi was tired. Bongi came from an apendix operation and took a strain on his fitness. That's why he didn't play a lot at SR and was substituted early. Rassie still felt that he was good enough for 30 mins. If you watched the interview Rassie says "2/3 minutes before the line out we planned to sub him, but after the over throw I actually asked them not to sub him" Maybe you should watch the video before making stupid comments

    • @len2son

      Andile, why even bother commenting when you do not even pay attention? You should remove this dumb comment of yours. You are 'insulted' for Bongi, yet he himself is not. WTF is that about?
