This works when I am just in windows normally but the second I go into valorant, my hz goes down to 120. And this only happens when I am in stretched res. Why?
@@cxnrr2410 No, my problem is between aspect ratio and full screen ratio. Aspect ratio allows me to have 144hz on normal valorant. But on stretched res, it makes black bars on the side and ends up being compressed. However on full screen ratio, my stretched res looks right but it's still 120hz.
if you haven't fixed this by now, you can go to the nvidia control panel, then go to adjust desktop size and position, then select the preferred monitor, and then checkmark the "Override the scaling mode set by games and programs" this should fix it 👍
It didnt actually help me but you look like a nice guy , cheers
That’s wild I never knew you needed a specific cable to do that 😭
I used to have 144 and now I have 120

This video couldve been half its lenght
It's 2 minutes long. Maybe the issue is your attention span, and not the length of the video.
Thank you!
