    Stand looks good. That cushion looks extremely comfortable.
    I like that the base isn’t straight bars like my old stand I still use. Easier to rest your gun on while climbing up without worrying that it’ll fall through.
    Good video! 👍

      @@RelentlessSportsman I only use the one.
      It’s so old I don’t even know what it’s called 🤣
      I think the one I don’t use at all anymore is called a gorilla stand.

      @@TheMichiganFisherman ahh I see. It's probably kinda heavy and made of steel I would assume. Those are nice for leaving out in private land for the season.

    The weight they listed on the box is the weight of just the stand, no seat, no straps, just the aluminum

    Nice review, fair and balanced. I am using the Vanish. I wanted the smaller/lighter stand for the long walks onto public land. The stand is very comfortable and quiet. Due to the light weight, much easier to attach and take down from the tree than the steel Gorilla lock on stand I was using. It is smaller but that is not creating any problems. Hope you enjoy your Air Raid.

    • @RelentlessSportsman
      @RelentlessSportsman  2 года назад

      Thanks. The Vanish is a good option.
      Yeah those steel stands are not fun at all, unless they're pre hung on private land or something.
      I may actually be selling my Air Raid. I like it a lot, but I found another stand that is completely set up with sticks, stealth tape and it's go locks for the sticks to attach too.
      Video coming soon...
      Thanks for watching.

      @@RelentlessSportsman I’m getting close to pulling the trigger on a air raid I’d love to see what setup you decided to swap it out for

      @@gregundahood202 so....with the Air Raid, I decided to use it primarily on my private land. It's easily usable on public land, with the run and gun style of hunting. However, I purchased a Lone Wolf Assault 2 stand that is fully customized for public land hunting. Here's a video that shows that one: ruclips.net/video/m6j4pRXbcLc/видео.html
      I love the Air Raid, probably more so than the Lone Wolf, simply because of the size of the platform.
      If you do get the Air Raid, upgrade the straps immediately. The ones that come with it are junk.

      @@RelentlessSportsman yea I feel I might need to deal with the larger stand I’m 6,3 240lbs i need a Mobile setup for a archery trip to New Jersey this year but I’m worried about getting one to small as well

    Ibought this stand few months back and love it. Did you upgrade to daisy chains yet? What size would you get for the stand and sticks?

    • @RelentlessSportsman
      @RelentlessSportsman  Год назад +1

      Yes, I have been using daisy chains for a couple years now. I use them with my mobile, public land setup - ruclips.net/video/Eu2jDZtnfag/видео.html
      For my XOP stand, I purchased the bigger of the two because I use it to move around private land. I keep it up for weeks at a time. I have been using stackedoutdoors sticks for that purpose. It's a much different setup than my public land setup that I demonstrate in that video ^

      Up here in North Central, WI, it's tough to hunt out of a saddle during late season with all the extra gear.

      I'm not sure. On the XOP website, it should say what the weight restrictions are.
      As far as space on the platform, it's plenty big for anyone.

      @@RelentlessSportsman so..... you do a review on a product, then when asked, a pretty basic question, your answer is, "I'm not sure"... The weight rating is clearly printed on the box. Says it has a capacity of 350lbs. XOP is also a TMA supported member. You'd recommend the manufacturer remove the safety harness in place of better carry straps?!? You've not only completely discredited this "review" but you've also displayed a serious lack of character in the process. You're actually a 🤡
