the earlier films, Jamie Lee got paid $5 million for Halloween H20 and did a back end deal where she made around $10 million for Halloween 2018. Neve Campbell made $5 million for Scream 3
@@BlueSunShineDM both first entries were big industry risks and new actors don’t usually get a shot at back end until they’re established names because then producers can use them as a selling point to get funding to make the movies. For the people that don’t know. The woman at 0:25 with the famous shower scene from Psycho is Janet Leigh. The mother of Jamie Lee Curtis!
I've watched hundreds of Zoom interviews and celebrity content and I must say.. This brought me SO MUCH JOY. Best, most heart-warming content since the shutdown.
I love them both so much. Absolutely hate horror films, not cause they scare me but because they are so predictable. Scream always almost mocked the genre and the absurdness of it, like people falling while jogging and being unable to get up. It's always been in my top 5 and always my favorite Scary Movie.
An interview that is so comfortable and natural that it just looks like 2 old friends talking is the best kind. Love this
If I wasn't already in love with these women before, I would be now. I want to see a film with these two queens co-starring. They have great chemistry and clearly respect each other.
I always do love whenever Neve tells the story about how they called her after the movie was release and said "we hit $30 million" ( the number always changes which is fine lol) and she so innocently & naively says "Oh no; is that bad?" GOD I love her! And I just keep hearing over the last few years how truly close she and Wes were (I had no idea; I just thought they got along great while they making the films and they realized how linked they were and grateful to each other in general but never knew they were THAT close). Even more respect.
Both of these ladies are so lovely. You can tell they are genuinely kind and down to earth despite their iconic titles! I just love them, and they are fabulous! Also! We want the Scream action figures as well!!
I would love to see these 2 in a horror movie together
Whoa these two scream queen was literally my childhood
Neve: “It was a Weinstein”
JLCURTIS: “Yeah well guess what!?” LMAOOO
What does it mean?
@@sharkiealami7817 Harvey got exposed as a sociopathic rapist and got fired from his company. Karma is a beast.
I love JLC. She paved the way for all scream Queens. I'd love to see JLC on a horror based show.
As for Neve, God when I was younger I was IN LOVE with her. Such a beautiful smile and great dimples.
These women are timeless.
It’s so amazing to see them talking together. They both in some of the best movies of all time 💯
It sucks this interview had to end when both woman started talking about the reality of Hollywood. Would love more of this!
That is so cool a Scream Queen Talking to a fellow Scream Queen. Neve Campbell and Jamie Lee Curtis are horror queen legends it's too bad they never did a movie together it was so fun to see them interact.
I love seeing these two together-wish it was longer
Never knew how much I needed this interview! I need more!
Jamie is a just a legend love her
LITERALLY. I would not be who I am, without these two AMAZING PEOPLE. Deeply a fan of their work and their awesome humble selves that without fail, exemplifies great character! Much love and appreciation!
This made me so incredibly happy.
What a lovely interview. I cherish them so much.
The ONLY thing missing here is Heather Langenkamp. If she were here too I think my horror fanboy heart would explode.
OMG yes the trio of horror heroins lol
@@jarredah lol right?? We’d have reps for the 70s, 80s AND 90s at that point!!
Who's that
@@andrewcarson6925 Heather Langenkamp is Nancy from the Nightmare on Elm Street series. And Marilyn Burns is Sally from the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre (RIP)
@William Brynn oh yeah, she'd be awesome too.
Laurie and Sidney having a conversation is truly a special moment
I know Halloween is a movie in the Scream franchise. But how incredible would it be to see Laurie and Sidney together in a movie!
The two best scream queens, PERIOD. Just wish Jamie would let people talk sometimes, like girl we know you’re an icon, we know. Either way, excited for Scream 5 and Halloween Kills! So crazy they haven’t done this sooner. Also crazy to hear they’re both so detached from horror films, aside from starring in them haha.
These two should be in a movie together
They have already
Never thought I needed this until I actually see it! Bless you variety!
This is actually a pretty juicy interview!!
SO GOOD! (btw we make horror short films ruclips.net/video/loWk2Wqd8hg/видео.html)
Nice to see two Icons give each other props! I like when Neve Campbell acknowledge the fact that people come up to her and say their lives changed because of her character in “Scream”. Kevin Williamson wrote a badass woman that stood up for herself and wasn’t afraid to kick some ass! Same goes with Laurie and Ripley ( Sigourney Weaver is also another great Scream Queen/Final Girl)
Happy Halloween 🎃
They both look great! Love Neve’s mention of the Changeling, it scared me for months when I was a kid as well.
I forgot they were in Drowning Mona together
Who's else heart dropped real quick when the video started, thinking Jamie was just calling out the Scream movies? But they were talking about not watching scary movies in general lol
As a fan of both within and without the horror franchise. It’s great and refreshing to see how far they have come. Sad that films they are known for they didn’t get to profit off it.
the earlier films, Jamie Lee got paid $5 million for Halloween H20 and did a back end deal where she made around $10 million for Halloween 2018. Neve Campbell made $5 million for Scream 3
@@samosler4009 yes this is true. But that’s dealing with the franchise. I’m talking strictly OG. First entry.
@@BlueSunShineDM both first entries were big industry risks and new actors don’t usually get a shot at back end until they’re established names because then producers can use them as a selling point to get funding to make the movies. Also, they weren’t expecting the first films to make as much money or be as big a hit as they were so they didn’t think about fighting for back end either.
@@FramesPerSecond yes, I know. That’s why I said it’s sad that they didn’t get to profit off those, but happy to see what it’s done for their careers inside and out of the horror genre
Heather Lankemp- Nancy Thompson Nightmare on Elm Street should be in there as well
I agree!
But these actresses r a lot more popular and done many well known movies over the years in various genres so i feel like it’s more intersting
history repeating itself with Neve Campbell…
never mess with an original. ❤️🔪
This was really great. Loved this interview. Can NOT wait for Scream 5!!!
