I've used Charlotte's Web for CBD oil, and I'm about to receive my first shipment from Elixinol. I've heard AMAZING things from people who use Elixinol. A friend of mine was able to titrate off of narcotics after years of pain management dosing, and now is narcotic free! I use Charlottes web CBD oil for my chronic body pain. I wasn't sure if it would work for me because most things don't help at all. I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked. Snapping is actually the sound of the middle finger hitting the palm. So the sound is made by force placed on the middle finger done by the thumb. So to snap if you press your thumb and middle together hard then eventually slide the thumb and middle it will make a snap. Lol useless stuff just wanted to share. Hope I helped

Adriana Gabriela the feeding tubes are for feeds (obviously) and some liquid meds can be pushed through them, the port in her chest is for IV things i.e. antibiotics and infusions like you'd have in the hospital, the feeding tubes don't need to be sterile processed but the port does. There's a whole playlist on her channel if you look for it hope my brief explanations helped a little though

As far as where to get the cbd tinctures, check to see if there is a medical marijuana dispensary near you. That would be a better option than just going into an ordinary marijuana store or head shop. A medical dispensary would be better equipped to help you find the formulation that is best for your specific symptoms. I’m glad you are considering this; it would be great if it could help you as much as it has helped me and other people with chronic pain.
It's totally okay to take breaks from vlogging but maybe when you feel like just taking it a bit easier you could combine a couple of days in one vlog so you need to film less and not edit every day 😊.
PLUS CBD OIL they're based out of Nevada but they also deliver. A very hyper sensitive to medication I also have issues with tachycardia and low blood pressure and I haven't seen it affect me in any negative way whatsoever. ( as a side not I would have to drive an hour out every month to a store if they didn't mail them out.) Also I'm in NC.
So for CBD oils you're going to actually be looking for tinctures (the ones you drop under your tongue etc.) but topical CBDs like lotions or patches could also be beneficial for you I believe as you can apply them right to the areas that hurt most, and you could combine those with an oral dose of CBD for a little more relief if you need.
Rock Simpson oil is probably the most well known cbd oil. My chiropractor used it on his son before he created his own line. Good luck with your research, I hope you find something soon!
If you have any concern about reliability and cost, you could ask your pain management doc to write a recommendation for Medical Cannabis. So, for the snapping, it might help you to remember that the sound actually comes from when your middle finger hits your palm, as opposed to the connection between the middle finger and thumb - that's just to build up the force it needs to make the sound. That's what helped me learn to do it XD Also, I use CBD oil from DiamondCBD - it's hemp-derived, so no THC. It hasn't really helped much with my pain, but it helps a lot with my nausea, headaches, and anxiety. I honestly hadn't realized how awful my anxiety was until it... wasn't, anymore. I have heard that the cannabis-derived CBD oil tends to work better for pain - I'm hoping to compare them after the dispensaries finally open here in Ohio.

What about trying medical marijuana? My pain management doctor just put in the registry and it takes about 4-6 weeks to get it. It comes in drops under the tongue, spray in mouth, or vape pen. The doctor starts you at a dose depending on how bad your pain is and your medical history. Also he can order it with more THC than CBD or vice-versa all depends on you how your body reacts and what your tolerance is. My doctor uses a very trusted reliable dispensory in Tampa. They actually deliver it straight to your door. Perfect for people like you and I. My doc only charges $150 every three weeks, which is really reasonable compared to some doctors. Plus you have to pay for the product which the price is different depending on the dosage and quantity. My doctor says it can be between $50-$200 depending on what you need. I think it would be worth a try for you.
CBD topical ointments are amazing, they last a long time, and are great for joint pain. CBD in general is very expensive, but the benifits are amazing, Service dog Paws just did a video about an online company that maybe you'd be interested in.

I would love to send you some of my favorite CBD topical. It has made it possible for me to drive again It’s called Flo and I think it would really help you. You may find a CBD. Tincture would help you more then the oil. The oils I tried didn’t seem to help me at all. The tinctures, I prefer glycerin tincture, work much faster. I’m 60 and don’t like to feel drugged I just need pain relief and love CBD. I would love some advice. My husband had to have his port removed after getting sepsis from a fungal infection. We can only use his right arm for Iv’s because his central line cause a massive blood clot in his left arm. He has to start back on ivig but the infusion nurses couldn’t get a line started. We are trying again next week. He drank 20oz of water, left the house with a heated gel pack on his arm Thursday but no luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Danni Sams As someone who sells DoTerra, I think you might be confusing it with the copaiba oil, which works in a way similar to CBD but isn't actually CBD. Unless you're in another country where DoTerra does sell CBD, but they don't in the US, at least!

I live in one of those places where recreational weed is legal and I could easily go pick up CBD at a dispensary but I have chosen to purchase from pet supply stores (the product I've used is Pet Releaf) because they are hemp derivative products (instead of marijuana) which means significantly less or negligible amounts of THC. So, that might be another method worth considering. Also, I would suggest finding somewhere that does a CO2 extraction method on their products as that will have a lot less chemicals and potential allergens which I know is important for you.
I tried CBD oil for my Fibromyalgia and sleeping problems. Didn't work for me and the taste was horrendous. Now I use CBD E-liquid in a Vaporizer and that works miracles for me! If one does not work for you, try something else. There are lots of options regarding CBD and intake of it. I also have CBD ointment which I can apply on sore muscles or joints and it's honestly amazing

I tried the cbd oil from the health food store and also one from a smoke shop., neither one did much much. I'm confident that the combo will help because I already take Marinol gel caps to increase my appetite and decrease nausea. Something to talk to your pain doc about it. It’s very normal to lose weight after an abdo surgery....and it’s only been a couple weeks since you had it. It isn’t noticeable that you lost weight, so it might be best not to focus on it perse and just keep doing what you are supposed to be doing!

After looking online after I viewed your Vlog , I too was so so confused. Do not take the narcotic medication, you will become addicted and that's a place you don't want to go, believe me. I won't go into my chronic health issues here, but I'm not doing well. Every day is a struggle. You're so young and a such a beautiful person, just remember that always. For CBD oil CannTrust is a really good brand or CanniMed is good as well. It is expensive but its so worth it. It has helped alot with my chronic pain and its now under control for the first time in 6 years!! If u have any questions feel free to ask! The bottles last a while with the oils i can get 2 bottles a month and be good all month and i take 2-3 mL’s a day (way more then they would start u with they do micro dosing ur first time so for example 1 drop in the morning 1 drop at night type thing) its very beneficial to pain☺️☺️ good like Jaquie!!!
You are right. CBD oil is expensive, but when you realize that you may only require 4-6 drops of a high concentration oil per day to feel significant relief with your symptoms, it becomes more cost effective. I reduce the cost of my oil by over 75% making it myself which requires only two ingredients. It's very easy. There is a very good brand sold on Amazon that I'm personally familiar with. I work with a lab in Phoenix that analyses product for consumers.and is very involved with educating the public . I would be more than happy to help you get started and answering any questions that you have.
Thank you for reminding all of us of the importance of 3rd party testing when attempting to determine which supplements are legitimate and which ones are questionable. =) That's not to say that the absence of 3rd party testing means that something is automatically bad or that something that does have 3rd party testing is automatically good-- but adding a HYPOTHETICALLY unbiased 3rd party into the mix does increase the credibility of claims made based on the results of test results. I'm an engineer, by profession, and at one point in my career (before my disability forced me to make the difficult decision to stop working), I was the only person working at the manufacturing plant with knowledge in my area of expertise. Whenever I was doing testing that was going to be officially documented (in attempt to prove that a product or process was good), my samples were sent to a local test lab or to a colleague at one of the company's other plants so that no one could ever question if I did anything to influence the test results... which was especially ironic, in my case, since I had the reputation of being _that_ engineer who an especially strict stance when it came to all things quality. For those of you shopping for CBD oil-- if you notice that a specific company has a large volume of good anecdotal-type reviews and few-to-none bad reviews (especially things like an occasional broken bottle), it means that the company likely has a great Quality Assurance and Quality Control system... in addition to likely having a good product. Nothing is 100%, but it is easier to spot the 'good stuff' and the junk if you know what to look for... and it sounds like Miss Karla might know what the perfect CBD oil is supposed be like?
Sunglasses Girl , Thanks you for your feedback. You clearly understand the importance of verification, and your personal story was very interesting. One problem I encountered was finding a lab that catered to the consumer. I was only able to find two after researching for months. One was in another state and did not accept mailed in samples. The other is less than 15 minutes from me, and picked up and returned the unused part of my sample to me. At a hospital. Not only do independent labs check samples to confirm that you are getting the strength you are paying for, they are also testing for contaminates. There are two basic ways you can extract CBD from hemp, one of which you can do in your kitchen with the actual plant, the other must be done in a lab. A couple of months ago, at UC. Davis Medical Center, 2 patients died from the same rare fungal infection. After some investigation, it was found that both patients had cancer, both used medical marijuana to ameliorate their symptoms, and both purchased it from the same licensed vendor. Because of a difference between state and federal laws; marijuana still being against the law federally even though many states allow its use, the UC Davis lab could not test the product or it would lose enormous Federal funding. So the hospital sent a sample of both patients' product to an independent third party lab for analysis and what it revealed was informative and horrifying. Both samples were contaminated with several strains of bacteria, mold, and fungus as well as pesticide residue. If these people had not had compromised immune systems from their chemotherapy, they may have survived, but there is little way to differentiate where a patient may have picked up a certain bug when they present at their family doctor or the Emergency Room. The lab then proceeded to embark on an independent study where over 10,000 samples were collected state wide; from reputable state licensed labs and from people growing it in their own homes for income, and the results were equally disturbing. Every single sample was contaminated; all of them grew multiple strains of bacteria ( many including e.coli ), mold and fungus, and most had pesticide residue. People think that because they are purchasing their products from a reputable, state licensed storefront, that the products they sell have to meet certain quality or safety standards, like prescription medication in tablet form. They don't. Depending on the process used to extract the CBD from the hemp, these contaminates may not be eliminated, and if your immune system is compromised, like mine, it could make a difference not shown in consumer reviews. Most doctors don't know a lot about CBD before they prescribe it; they only know it can reduce pain. Before a drop went into my body, I knew far more about it and its uses than my doctor.
Miss Karla, Thank you for taking the time to put that information out there. =) I know absolutely nothing about CBD oil, but seeing all of the different product names and knowing that *supplements are NOT FDA regulated* like foods, prescription drugs and non-prescription drugs (AKA OTC drugs), and medical devices are regulated, I was starting to cringe a little bit. There's no reason for us, as a community, to waste money on 'snake oil' that doesn't do anything... or worse, unknowingly purchase a highly toxic bottles of poison.

I was having this quite unpleasant procedure done Friday and Saturday called a radiofrequency ablation (it's basically electrocuting certain nerves to decrease pain signals) and was occasionally running it through my head as a paain distraction .. so I guess I can't be too annoyed with Judd! Hi! In my state they have a compassion program. That helps with cost and sometimes I get a small bag of different items to try. Call around and ask to talk to the manager. They will help direct you. If there dispensary doesnt have that program ask them if they know another place they can direct you. Goodluck!

As a fellow edser and potsie and MCAD sufferer I can honestly say that CBD oil hasn’t made a huge difference for me but it’s a good thing to try. I bought the charlottes web CBD oil from medicinal Mary’s online in the mint chocolate flavor and had been just adding to tea every morning to see benefits. CBD is helping me. I am off of five medications. Only using pain med and muscle relaxer as needed when pain is real bad. I use CBD /500 Neuro Armor. Try to get some empty caplets at a health food store. Then you don't taste it. In the mouth gets into blood faster however.

Snapping is actually the sound of the middle finger hitting the palm. So the sound is made by force placed on the middle finger done by the thumb. So to snap if you press your thumb and middle together hard then eventually slide the thumb and middle it will make a snap. Lol useless stuff just wanted to share. Hope I helped

Adriana Gabriela the feeding tubes are for feeds (obviously) and some liquid meds can be pushed through them, the port in her chest is for IV things i.e. antibiotics and infusions like you'd have in the hospital, the feeding tubes don't need to be sterile processed but the port does. There's a whole playlist on her channel if you look for it hope my brief explanations helped a little though

Palmetto Harmony is an awesome company to get CBD from. It was started by a mother whose child had severe epilepesy. MzClementine it's a shame because thc is good medicine and would help so much with nausea and seizures too. But there is so much stigma behind it.
As far as where to get the cbd tinctures, check to see if there is a medical marijuana dispensary near you. That would be a better option than just going into an ordinary marijuana store or head shop. A medical dispensary would be better equipped to help you find the formulation that is best for your specific symptoms. I’m glad you are considering this; it would be great if it could help you as much as it has helped me and other people with chronic pain.
It's totally okay to take breaks from vlogging but maybe when you feel like just taking it a bit easier you could combine a couple of days in one vlog so you need to film less and not edit every day 😊.
PLUS CBD OIL they're based out of Nevada but they also deliver. A very hyper sensitive to medication I also have issues with tachycardia and low blood pressure and I haven't seen it affect me in any negative way whatsoever. you may already know about christina doherty, a fellow warrior blogger, but i mention her in case you don’t. she has done a ton of cbd oil research.
So for CBD oils you're going to actually be looking for tinctures (the ones you drop under your tongue etc.) but topical CBDs like lotions or patches could also be beneficial for you I believe as you can apply them right to the areas that hurt most, and you could combine those with an oral dose of CBD for a little more relief if you need.

So, for the snapping, it might help you to remember that the sound actually comes from when your middle finger hits your palm, as opposed to the connection between the middle finger and thumb - that's just to build up the force it needs to make the sound. That's what helped me learn to do it XD
Also, I use CBD oil from DiamondCBD - it's hemp-derived, so no THC. It hasn't really helped much with my pain, but it helps a lot with my nausea, headaches, and anxiety. I honestly hadn't realized how awful my anxiety was until it... wasn't, anymore.

What about trying medical marijuana? My pain management doctor just put in the registry and it takes about 4-6 weeks to get it. It comes in drops under the tongue, spray in mouth, or vape pen. The doctor starts you at a dose depending on how bad your pain is and your medical history. Also he can order it with more THC than CBD or vice-versa all depends on you how your body reacts and what your tolerance is. My doctor uses a very trusted reliable dispensory in Tampa. They actually deliver it straight to your door. Perfect for people like you and I. My doc only charges $150 every three weeks, which is really reasonable compared to some doctors. Plus you have to pay for the product which the price is different depending on the dosage and quantity. My doctor says it can be between $50-$200 depending on what you need. I think it would be worth a try for you.
CBD topical ointments are amazing, they last a long time, and are great for joint pain. CBD in general is very expensive, but the benifits are amazing, Service dog Paws just did a video about an online company that maybe you'd be interested in.
CBD oil helps, but for me i have to have something as well for break through pain. Yes i know it costs a lot, but to be honest it lasts quite awhile and it doesnt taste bad at all.

I would love to send you some of my favorite CBD topical. It has made it possible for me to drive again It’s called Flo and I think it would really help you. You may find a CBD. Tincture would help you more then the oil. The oils I tried didn’t seem to help me at all. The tinctures, I prefer glycerin tincture, work much faster. I’m 60 and don’t like to feel drugged I just need pain relief and love CBD. I would love some advice. My husband had to have his port removed after getting sepsis from a fungal infection. We can only use his right arm for Iv’s because his central line cause a massive blood clot in his left arm. He has to start back on ivig but the infusion nurses couldn’t get a line started. We are trying again next week. He drank 20oz of water, left the house with a heated gel pack on his arm Thursday but no luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Charlottes web is pure CBD, great for chronic pain, and you can buy it online. Its a little pricey but well worth it. It also tastes like mint chocolate as an added bonus.

Danni Sams As someone who sells DoTerra, I think you might be confusing it with the copaiba oil, which works in a way similar to CBD but isn't actually CBD. Unless you're in another country where DoTerra does sell CBD, but they don't in the US, at least!

I live in one of those places where recreational weed is legal and I could easily go pick up CBD at a dispensary but I have chosen to purchase from pet supply stores (the product I've used is Pet Releaf) because they are hemp derivative products (instead of marijuana) which means significantly less or negligible amounts of THC. So, that might be another method worth considering. Also, I would suggest finding somewhere that does a CO2 extraction method on their products as that will have a lot less chemicals and potential allergens which I know is important for you.
I tried CBD oil for my Fibromyalgia and sleeping problems. Didn't work for me and the taste was horrendous. Now I use CBD E-liquid in a Vaporizer and that works miracles for me! If one does not work for you, try something else. There are lots of options regarding CBD and intake of it. I also have CBD ointment which I can apply on sore muscles or joints and it's honestly amazing

I'm confident that the combo will help because I already take Marinol gel caps to increase my appetite and decrease nausea. Something to talk to your pain doc about it. I found a group on FB and its super helpful. One of the websites has a discount if you have disability. They are reasonable priced. some have sample packs that are as low as 10 bucks. The fb group is called CBD Oil Users Groups. Many knowledgeable people in the group.
It’s very normal to lose weight after an abdo surgery....and it’s only been a couple weeks since you had it. It isn’t noticeable that you lost weight, so it might be best not to focus on it perse and just keep doing what you are supposed to be doing!

After looking online after I viewed your Vlog , I too was so so confused. Do not take the narcotic medication, you will become addicted and that's a place you don't want to go, believe me. I won't go into my chronic health issues here, but I'm not doing well. Every day is a struggle. You're so young and a such a beautiful person, just remember that always. For CBD oil CannTrust is a really good brand or CanniMed is good as well. It is expensive but its so worth it. It has helped alot with my chronic pain and its now under control for the first time in 6 years!! If u have any questions feel free to ask! The bottles last a while with the oils i can get 2 bottles a month and be good all month and i take 2-3 mL’s a day (way more then they would start u with they do micro dosing ur first time so for example 1 drop in the morning 1 drop at night type thing) its very beneficial to pain☺️☺️ good like Jaquie!!!

You are right. CBD oil is expensive, but when you realize that you may only require 4-6 drops of a high concentration oil per day to feel significant relief with your symptoms, it becomes more cost effective. I reduce the cost of my oil by over 75% making it myself which requires only two ingredients. It's very easy. There is a very good brand sold on Amazon that I'm personally familiar with. I work with a lab in Phoenix that analyses product for consumers.and is very involved with educating the public . I would be more than happy to help you get started and answering any questions that you have.

That's not to say that the absence of 3rd party testing means that something is automatically bad or that something that does have 3rd party testing is automatically good-- but adding a HYPOTHETICALLY unbiased 3rd party into the mix does increase the credibility of claims made based on the results of test results.
I'm an engineer, by profession, and at one point in my career (before my disability forced me to make the difficult decision to stop working), I was the only person working at the manufacturing plant with knowledge in my area of expertise. Whenever I was doing testing that was going to be officially documented (in attempt to prove that a product or process was good), my samples were sent to a local test lab or to a colleague at one of the company's other plants so that no one could ever question if I did anything to influence the test results... which was especially ironic, in my case, since I had the reputation of being _that_ engineer who an especially strict stance when it came to all things quality.
For those of you shopping for CBD oil-- if you notice that a specific company has a large volume of good anecdotal-type reviews and few-to-none bad reviews (especially things like an occasional broken bottle), it means that the company likely has a great Quality Assurance and Quality Control system... in addition to likely having a good product. Nothing is 100%, but it is easier to spot the 'good stuff' and the junk if you know what to look for... and it sounds like Miss Karla might know what the perfect CBD oil is supposed be like?

One problem I encountered was finding a lab that catered to the consumer. I was only able to find two after researching for months. One was in another state and did not accept mailed in samples. The other is less than 15 minutes from me, and picked up and returned the unused part of my sample to me. At a hospital.
Not only do independent labs check samples to confirm that you are getting the strength you are paying for, they are also testing for contaminates. There are two basic ways you can extract CBD from hemp, one of which you can do in your kitchen with the actual plant, the other must be done in a lab.
A couple of months ago, at UC. Davis Medical Center, 2 patients died from the same rare fungal infection. After some investigation, it was found that both patients had cancer, both used medical marijuana to ameliorate their symptoms, and both purchased it from the same licensed vendor. Because of a difference between state and federal laws; marijuana still being against the law federally even though many states allow its use, the UC Davis lab could not test the product or it would lose enormous Federal funding. So the hospital sent a sample of both patients' product to an independent third party lab for analysis and what it revealed was informative and horrifying. Both samples were contaminated with several strains of bacteria, mold, and fungus as well as pesticide residue. If these people had not had compromised immune systems from their chemotherapy, they may have survived, but there is little way to differentiate where a patient may have picked up a certain bug when they present at their family doctor or the Emergency Room.
The lab then proceeded to embark on an independent study where over 10,000 samples were collected state wide; from reputable state licensed labs and from people growing it in their own homes for income, and the results were equally disturbing. Every single sample was contaminated; all of them grew multiple strains of bacteria ( many including e.coli ), mold and fungus, and most had pesticide residue.
People think that because they are purchasing their products from a reputable, state licensed storefront, that the products they sell have to meet certain quality or safety standards, like prescription medication in tablet form. They don't.
Depending on the process used to extract the CBD from the hemp, these contaminates may not be eliminated, and if your immune system is compromised, like mine, it could make a difference not shown in consumer reviews.
Most doctors don't know a lot about CBD before they prescribe it; they only know it can reduce pain. Before a drop went into my body, I knew far more about it and its uses than my doctor.
Miss Karla, Thank you for taking the time to put that information out there. =) I know absolutely nothing about CBD oil, but seeing all of the different product names and knowing that *supplements are NOT FDA regulated* like foods, prescription drugs and non-prescription drugs (AKA OTC drugs), and medical devices are regulated, I was starting to cringe a little bit.
There's no reason for us, as a community, to waste money on 'snake oil' that doesn't do anything... or worse, unknowingly purchase a highly toxic bottles of poison.

I was (and still am) totally the one going around saying, "babe stop it's less resistance" for the past couple of days and now thanks to you, dear Judd, that is only going to get worse! I was having this quite unpleasant procedure done Friday and Saturday called a radiofrequency ablation (it's basically electrocuting certain nerves to decrease pain signals) and was occasionally running it through my head as a paain distraction .. so I guess I can't be too annoyed with Judd! Oh my gosh, today I found my leftover Mac and cheese from last nights dinner in the Tupperware cupboard!! Hi! In my state they have a compassion program. That helps with cost and sometimes I get a small bag of different items to try. Call around and ask to talk to the manager. They will help direct you. If there dispensary doesnt have that program ask them if they know another place they can direct you. Goodluck!

As a fellow edser and potsie and MCAD sufferer I can honestly say that CBD oil hasn’t made a huge difference for me but it’s a good thing to try. I bought the charlottes web CBD oil from medicinal Mary’s online in the mint chocolate flavor and had been just adding to tea every morning to see benefits. Honestly it was better just rubbing it in the spot of pain then putting it under the tongue. Good lucks jaquie ❤️
shannon steinhauer I put mine under my tongue and it hasn’t helped me at all. Did tons of research and feel confident that what I got was high quality. It just hasn’t helped me which is SUPER disappointing! It cost $91, so there’s that too.

There is a nasal spray that is 6 to 7 times more effective. also you use less so its not as expensive
A friend uses CBD oil for multiple reasons and she gets a really natural one from Colorado where the bees pollinate the crop and it's really good and has no additives besides natural ones that might be something to look around for

CBD is helping me. I am off of five medications. Only using pain med and muscle relaxer as needed when pain is real bad. I use CBD /500 Neuro Armor. Try to get some empty caplets at a health food store. Then you don't taste it. In the mouth gets into blood faster however.
