Van Leucia is a versatile, highly experienced and trained musician, surrounded by music from an early age. Having begun his international performing career as a solo pianist from the age of 8, winning local/national competitions and eisteddfods in Sydney and prizes in international summer schools and acclaim across European, Asian, and Australian stages, Van completed his Licentiate Diploma in Piano Performance (L.Mus.A, AMEB) in his early teens and graduating from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2015 (B.Mus.A). Expanding his knowledge across multiple instruments, Van now performs, teaches and writes on the guitar (classical/acoustic/electric), electric bass, and language coaches for vocal students. Van has studied a vast plethora of genres from jazz, Indian raga, and Chinese/Japanese opera to Western 20th/21st century art music, heavy metal and music for film and games.
