    Excellent tutorial, thanks.
I managed to get a realistic nudge but impossible to get a TILT or a DANGER although the little black arrow in DX Tweaks easily reaches the maximum.

I've been trying to get this working for 3 weeks now. It works fine in VPX, but I can't get it to work in Pinball FX, Pinball Arcade or Zaccaria. The x360ce clearly shows movement from the kl25z and it's mapped to the left thumbstick, and I verified in all of those games that they are using the L thumbstick for nudge. Also, x360ce keeps randomly remapping other buttons when I don't want any other buttons mapped.

I currently have my cabinet buttons configured through fx3. Do I need to delete that completely and route everything through 360ce? I am guessing that I do, but do not want to start deleting things.

What type of encoder are you currently using? If you're using a separate encoder for your buttons than your accelerometer, the only way to have this all work properly with FX3 is to combine both button and accelerometer encoders into 1x virtual Xbox 360 controller using x360ce. This is because FX3 will only use one or the other when encoders are seen by Windows as separate Xbox 360 controllers, so you'll lose one of the two in the setup. Hope that helps.. Thanks for watching!

@@BreakingPintMedia I have a legends pinball cabinet which shows up as a xbox controller. It shows in x360ce and I can map buttons, but so far I have not found a way for fx3 use them or nudge. I also cannot see the plunger in x360ce so that is another problem. Can I tell fx3 which controller to use?

I have x360ce working with my buttons using a Geeekpi. I've setup the firmware for a kl25z and am trying to add it as the nudge. It's detected in Windows fine, but when I load x360ce is asks to search for settings for it, then gives me an error for the settings. Did you have a particular settings file you used to get the kl25z recognized in x360ce?

are you planning on setting up the stock selenoids for that setup?

Did you hook the dmd directly to the pc?

    • @BreakingPintMedia

Yes, via HDMI. The DMD also receives audio via HDMI, which it sends to the built-in cabinet speakers.

@@BreakingPintMedia ok. I thought I saw that it was connected through dvi. Did you have any problems connecting the vsdisplay to the original monitor? Mine didn't work. Thanks for the response.

@@zman2173 no problem! I'm using a DisplayPort>HDMI adapter for the DMD. I had no issues getting the VSDISPLAY board to work with my playfield and PC. I used the existing cables that were connected to the monitor already (I forfeited the ones that came with the VSDISPLAY board). The only thing I used with the board from the box was the buttons board to power on and adjust the settings. What are you using for 12v power to the VSDISPLAY board?

@@BreakingPintMedia I tried following cool toys method using the stock power and a splitter to power the dmd and the main display.
