I think it’s possible the twist is that doom isn’t a variant of Tony stark but rather in the sacred timeline, Tony stark is a variant of Doom.
damn, “Tony stark is a variant of doom” that could be very possible
Nice 👍
@@re7lexus_ if you wanted to go one step further (idk how I feel about this though) it could be possible that Tony is a Doom variant who was adopted by the Starks and that’s why he was confused about the state of his mothers pregnancy in endgame.
Oh wow that's an interesting theory
@@goodpotato1000 but for that to be true, Latveria has to already exist on Earth-19999 (or Earth-616 as what Marvel wants to call it) and be established, but Latveria doesn't exist yet so it wouldn't make the reveal more impactful.
I completely agree that the MCU isn't the 'true' Marvel universe. Really, it was considered the sacred timeline ONLY because Kang made the TVA call it that. In the grand scheme of the multiverse, it's no more special than any other universe/timeline. In fact, it was closed off from the other universes by He Who Remains Kang so that he could protect himself from the other Kangs. That's literally the only reason it's the 'sacred timeline'. So a different universe where all the Marvel heroes exist together, just like in the comics, makes way more sense as the true Marvel universe.
Exactly
I doubt Kang will ever be mentioned again
Is any universe in the MCU the true time line because we have already seen so many other universes throughout Marvel
Disagree only because they really drive it home in Deadpool vs Wolverine. That's not Kangs TVA, they say it's the only timeline worth protecting
@Gabriel-i2j8g in Deadpool and Wolverine, the TVA make it very clear that earth 616 is the only sacred timeline
I honestly would not mind If Avengers Doomsday was 4 hours long or close to 4 hours
Valid
I would make certain I drink nothing for 2 hours prior to curtain call and nothing whilst watching. My drool will suffice
We always say this and it doesn't come close to happening 😂
3hrs 15mins is perfect
Agreed, we haven't had the build-up for Doom nor any other villain like we did for Thanos, so I wouldn't mind Doom having a lot of screentime smacking people around. I'd also like to see Namor put in some work.
This is why I sit back without judgement and wait to see what’s happening next. This is so thrilling. I love it all
I said this a year ago, Tony meeting his dad alter his future and instead of Howard naming him Tony, he named him Victor.
this would STINK
@@Heavyhitter913 I hope it’s something like that
Or, what happens IF Tony's parents weren't killed, and Tony was raised by his father and Tony being Dr Doom is the consequences of Tony not having the one core trait of a Tony Stark of not being self-pushed for excellence due to having his father around.
"Strange was meant to be the best of us"
Also, "biggest threat to the multiverse"
Being how the Russo Bros. love doing intros onto their movie, I can see them doing a flashback scene of Tony Stark tampering with something like an infinity stone etc. Him seeing Doom and then Doom seeing him trying to come through to the MCU and Tony shuts it down before he can. Then Doomsday pays off that moment. Would be a sick intro...
Thanos: "Stark..."
Tony: "You know me?"
Thanos: "You're not the only one cursed with knowledge..."
*Never Answered*
I still cant move on from that Loki Kang story. They're rushing Doom. He should've atleast 5 or 6 year journey of character growth like Loki before secret wars.
Tony Stark wouldn’t have invented time travel without testing it himself first. So he made variants of himself before bringing the tech to Steve.
Calling it now: the Fantastic 4 universe was created by Captain America living with Peggy. He used his knowledge of the future to make it “perfect”.
literally love this, I’ve been obsessively thinking about this for weeks now
😮
Call it
Nah. Starlord smacking that civilian with the power stone in gotg1 is what created this alternative universe
Adding onto that, what if it’s also the universe that Thanos left? No big bad and 80 more years of Steve Rogers might be a pretty nice place.
DID HE KNOW???
He didn’t know it was him
“WHAT WAS HE COOKING⁉️”
He couldn’t have!
He change he’s theory from Kang to Doom lol
@@virtualrealityfitness283I had a feeling that they had the script written for DOOM first already and then put aside for future story. Its like reading book that it doesn’t matter which one you read first since it’s a parallel storyline.
My theory on the current MCU was that He Who Remains Kang somehow found a way to make it so that all the heroes could never exist in the same universe or timeline, because maybe in a shared universe they always found a way to defeat him. So maybe since the very first MCU movie we've just been watching the history he re-wrote. And that also is the way to canonize the characters they choose from the FOX and Sony universes. Doom surely complicates my theory though. Especially RDJ Doom lol
Like it though 👍🏾
"DID HE KNOW?" in the title is so funny 😂😂
It took me a sec but lmao! 😂
Theory. RDJ isn't really playing Dr. Doom. He's playing Kang as Johnathan Majors, "Tropic Thunder" style!
One thing i've always wondered is what happened to the 2014 timeline that Thanos in Endgame came from? Without the snap, could the emergence already have happened? They messed with that 2014 Tony's time, what if he's looking to mess back?
I have always wondered this too (unless the TVA pruned that timeline) because that timeline is without their Nebula and Gamora as well
@@Mandalor988my headcannon is that every other timeline Dr Strange saw got pruned by the TVA. It was never that Thanos was unbeatable, but that it would never be allowed to proceed.
@@AaronFaganstarr Possibly, but we did see in Multiverse of Madness though how the 838 earth defeated their Thanos
@@Mandalor988 that's PART of my point, in that it shows Thanos can be defeated other ways. I reconcile 838 as allowed by changed TVA post Sylvie slaying He Who Remains.
@@AaronFaganstarrthat’s not a different timeline that’s a different universe hence it being called 838 instead of 616.whatever numbers the tva use and that’s why Wanda cant get there it’s not connected to 616/199999 it’s a separate tree like earth 92131 earth earth 10005 earth 96283 and earth 120703 they even have their own variant timelines
Connecting previous MCU to Secret Wars.
1) Steve Returning the stones.
2) Strange exploring 14 million 605 alternate timeslines- in all of which - Thanos wins.
3) Galactus destroying the earth in upcoming Fantastic Four Film.
4) Janet Van Dyne being trapped in the Quantum Realm - and somehow coming back and 'talking Scott' into getting trapped in the Quantum Realm just as the snap was about to happen.
?
I haven't been caught up with MCU in a long time but what does this say about anything?
Passed shit they will never touch on bud
Its crazy for me to believe ive been watching this channel for over 10 years
I can't help but think how Dr Strange said there was only one way, what if that was a lie?
They said right after Endgame that the only movie they would want to make with Marvel after that was Secret Wars, so I'm not buying this idea that he initially didn't want to do it.
"Doom" being John Majors' evil ex-girlfriend.
And BOOM: Val Kilmer is Batman again
Noooooooo
He can’t talk
@ even better
What?!😳
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I definitely believe Endgame laid the groundwork for something bigger than we're expecting once we get to Doomsday and Secret Wars.
I think when Doctor Strange used the time stone in Avengers infinity war he saw the battle between the avengers and Doctor Doom and thats why he only told tony he would only win one battle
THEORY: I think the upcoming avengers films will be a soft reboot of the franchise. They'll converge all the timelines into one master timeline.
Are we to believe that Tony never tested his tech out prior
without Pym particles?
Recall the fight scene when 616 Cap fought himself to escape with a stone. In that future, "a" Cap now has a memory of fighting himself... and losing!!👀 That really happens, and does it mean that there is another branch timeline? What is the butterfly effect that results from that?? Could that Cap be the 1st in his timeline to become aware of time travel?? 😮🤔
616 Tony is a variant of doom and is the only version of Victor Von Doom to turn out good
When Tony went back and met his dad he created a different turn out and parents named him victor
11:45 Something tells me Tony was kidnapped by the TVA during Avengers compound destruction. He could've been blown away by the explosion and the timedoor was setup right behind him when that happened. This way we could get the original Tony Stark from 616 and he could return back to his timeline in Endgame after Secret Wars has ended.
This actually makes so much sense. I really hope this comes to fruition
One of the biggest cliff hanger moments in endgame is when the timing of Tony's mother's pregnancy threw him off when he was talking to his dad at the shield base.
I’m just spit balling, but what if they ever tried to write the story of saying that Kang was really working for Dr. doom as one of his minions to control the timeline and then when Kang was defeated this is when Dr. doom steps in and sends his other Henchman like World War™ Hulk to soften up the avengers and the thunderbolts leading into secret wars. Kang one job was to keep the other Kangs from destroying the Multiverse now is up to Dr. doom to come and clean up the mess.😊
Maybe we’ll find out what was in Thanoses soup 9:29
4:25 the 3 takeaways from that article is
1. Money
2. Money
3. Money
Yes but that applies to any Hollywood movie
I just hope they get Doom right, Many mcu fans doesn't know how good of a villain he is and wanting him to be an Ironman variant 😒
i need to see young Howard Stark in the 60's
We saw that in Endgame.
That's a lot of words to say "we needed money so we're back"
😂😂😂💯
Feige needs to make the Russo Brothers some type of executive producers at marvel. Theyre behind the greatest Marvel movies
He want away from them, and it all fell to shix. I'm sorry but it's true.
@summertyme5748 facts!
The Russo Bros will return...
“Bet you didn’t see that coming.” - Quicksilver
The real question is. . . Did Thanos knew Stark will be Dr. Doom?
“cursed by knowledge” scene.
No.
I don’t care just play MF DOOM during the marvel logo intro
My conspiracy is that RDJ Doom is a Doom bot.
Oh that could be cool. Then after Secret wars they can get a fresh Doom
@Wico90YT oh that's interesting 🤔
My theory is RDJ Tony isn’t Tony. He’s always been Victor Von Doom
The scene in endgame makes me question it with Howard he seems confused about something when talking to Howard about his mom giving birth to him. I think something happened during the pregnancy and they lost the baby and adopted Victor and renamed him Tony. Also when you see Tony in the cabin early in endgame he’s dressed in a doom green shirt.
@@JohnnyMacs19that scene in the elevator! I was hoping someone else has caught his face reaction.
@@JohnnyMacs19damn that would be, awesome actually. Also if “Tony” is really Von Doom, and he somehow survived the snap (which they could retcon what that chopper was carrying in the background), and Doom is known to be heavily scarred under the mask, it could be from the Snap. Just spitballing but it would be wild. Though I think they confirmed RDJs Doom is from the F4 universe, which could’ve been the timeline created by Steve
That one line in endgame Downey said ‘the past has a tendency of fighting back’ I always thought that was a round robin for future films they’ll tie in. It was so random
Im just so excited to have the russos back!!! Also, I need Thor to come back too!
The title doomsday always makes me picture a hulk sized beast with crystals on his body
love this keep it up
Rockstars
Lets just cut the shit. $$$ talks and Marvel getting desperate brought back RDJ and the Russo's and im here for it.
Noooo. Of course not! It’s all part of a plan… one that has existed since the dawn of time… it’s call “Operation Head Cannon!!!”… it has nothing to do with YT views, channel memberships and paid sponsorships… 🙄
Ya thinking too small. It was always gonna lead to Doom. Kang was a distraction. Two movies on the phase road map were purposely kept secret, and then we find out it's doomsday and secret wars. Doom and RDJ playing him was supposed to be the major surprise but the Jonathan Majors situation forced their hand.
@@theyreruiningusa im probably in the minority here but i never really liked the fact that they were making kang as the big bad of this phase. kang did not have as great of a setup as thanos plus the fact that they made him appear in duds like antman 3 was just embarrassing. im glad one way or another they are getting rid of the whole kang storyline. doom is just way better
well, he didn't have the shield with him when he went back in time so i assume at some point he went back to wherever he left it & recovered it so he could give it to falcon
it's a different shield. Like, literally the details of the shield design are different.
Sheesh how much story building is fantastic four gonna do? Nothing we’ve seen all phase feels like it leads to doomsday
It’s because this phase was a mess
Mcu is a mess
3:20 does anyone else see him like an older Tom Holland 😂
I can’t unsee that now
@ my bad 😂
At least we know who too hire for the bio pic casting :)
Is it possible that Marvel is taking a page from DC and rebooting the MCU after Secret Wars?
That might be a possibility
100000% I think they end secret wars with galactus majorly threatening them so they merge all the universes together while also going back in time or something. Then build up to galactus as the mcu final villain sorta how they built up to Thanos.
Marvel already did a reboot in fox universe remember?
@@wadewilson452 indeed, but things are shifting on another level
@@kadosho02 this'll be huge yes but it's more likely a soft reboot within the universe and if the DC part he meant was about comics idk about that
Thanos: 'You are not the only one cursed with knowledge'.
Stark: WHAT IF....!?
👕
Doom make sure strange see that the only option is tony will die.
Nah. Too hokey. A lot of these requests are fan service requests to retcon story so character don't die, or difficult story points never happened. That's not what they are going to do.
Oh this is cool imo
very very intriguing my friend...... you are on to something.
I always think back to how this mcu was legitimately scrpited by he who remains it was scrpted to have an ending controlled environment tested and perfected by time the loop was closed the story is fragmented no direction no payoffs just events these movies will be the start of the real story the real chaotic story with all the characters together
Imagine seeing all comic accurate original avengers members fighting in 60s universe
After the Kang announcement and all that occurred, I figured that line “You mess with time, it tends to mess back” was a set up for the villain
Having Avengers Doomsday in 2026 means they're trying to wrap up this disjointed phase
Yea lmao they’ve been trying to since far from home
Yeah Kang dynasty was 2026 when it was announced in 2019
Mcu has been terrible since phase 1
These movies should be IMAX. I want that full aspect ratio.
Tony was in the illuminati that’s how he knew about Dome
Kinda bummed America Chavez isn’t in the rumored cast list seeing as how right now she’s the only character who can travel the multiverse
Do you think they’ll make a joke about the 2015 “Fant4stic” in a future MCU Story like “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” or Avengers: Doomsday?
no
It’s over this is the avengers doomsday
say that again
First Steps more likely.
what joke is worth them making? it was a bad movie, no jokes to be made.
@Steelville im pretty sure there talking about making a reference to the say that again joke in it
5:05 …dude if tony snapping somehow split the timeline or universe or if doom is a persona linked in any way to the stones ima leave
I guess but I think it’d be cool to have somewhat of an Endgame connection
Love from Belgium 🇧🇪 ❤
Great video. I wasn't sure what to expect
Forgive the suspicion, but it kind of sounds like the Russo brothers are chasing the same impact of the Infinity Saga. One thing that made that saga so special was that it was unexpected. Now, something about this just doesn’t feel as organic.
I completely agree. I hope the Doomsday is not like infinity war.
Or at least the trajectory of the movie is not a copy of infinity war.
8:52. McFeely came to Fiege before or after the conversation with Downey?!?! Great journalism there team!
Remember when Tony told Cap "You mess with time, it tends to mess back.” It's possible he could of seen himself as the Villain
I would totally support this. The Marvel Cinematic Universe that we’ve been watching is a universe worth fighting for.
I suspect that when they talk about stories that end game was a start for, they're talking about things like how the Earth is this important place in the universe now, how time travel has been invented, how all these possible avengers know each other now, the earth dealing with the consequences of the snap and blip, etc. Stuff that the MCU HAS dealt with since Endgame, but not much in the movies, and not well.
Are you filming with an iPhone now?
@12:10 Literally what DC did with their Justice League: Crisis on Inifinite Earths trilogy
They're making it up as they go along. Tony Stark had no idea.
We are definitely getting that Cap who went back to return the stones. We are getting that story in Doomsday or Secret Wars. Or throughout them. And what he did there effects things in a way thats important to the upcoming story.
NO HEMSWORTH?????😢
i actually really like this... explainds why RDJ is Doom also, without any real extra details and such...
I think Marvel Studios made a huge mistake not recasting Kang. He is literally the most easily recastable character.
Just my thought, I think the battles between Thanos vs nova to get the first stone. Did he fight Nova?
“How far along is she?” Tony was surprised that his parents were pregnant when he went back in time in endgame. Doom is going to be a brother of Tony that was given away far away from a civilization where he’d be recognized (Latveria)
What if the fantastic 4 universe is the branched timeline where thanos died in 2014 and it allowed them to live in a futuristic utopia because there was no cataclysm ?
Interesting concept, but I think it's an alternate sixties.
FIX THE HULK FOR GODSSAKE!
Hopefully Captain America 4 is the start of it
All of these “What if” should have been answered in the actual show called “WHAT IF”.
Dawg them saying let’s get Doom right makes my heart warm lmao if we get actual sorcery from Doom I will be complete
W post as always
I don't care if you're right or wrong, I just love watching you guys guessing 😅😅
💯😹
i really like this idea but i’m nervous that a “truer” universe will be hard for us to want to win because we aren’t attached to that universe’s characters. Like in MoM we saw 838 had a Mr Fantastic and Prof X but don’t think that would make me root for that universe to win secret wars. They would have to do a really good job getting us to care for the other universe the way we care for our current MCU
Great point. The storytelling will need to be on point to make that work.
@@NewRockstars I have a feeling they will come up with a good product, but not on the same level as Infinity War and Endgames.
Wow is RDJ's voice mental on that podcast? Is that a copyright thing to play at a different speed?
You know… if they go this approach, it might actually end up leading me to give Marvel another chance. I’ve lost a lot of hope with their recent projects, but this approach could be really refreshing
trying really hard to get excited about this. but it feels like its gonna be a clusterfuck and i am nervousness.
There is only a year between the two release dates. How can they wait a year to start filming Secret Wars?
12:12 oh my god! You guys gonna stop with these wild theories You guys are usually right 70% of the time. that's scary and awesome at the same time, that is wild.
I don’t have the join as member button 😡
I legitimately had this idea when Kang was announced as the villain of secret wars. I told my brothers they should have the MCU universe fight a completely comic accurate universe. They must’ve made this for me stg 😂
Great video!!!!
I have faith in these three geniuses. They cant go wrong.
I hope they fix all the mess that happened after Endgame. There's a lot of mess. A LOT.
I just hope they deliver a good product in the form of Doomday and d Secret Wars.
Although I do not expect them to top infinity war and endgame. It is very unlikely to happen. The level of those movies were too high. It was peak MCU.
Thank you
Tony: Well of course I know him he's me
I still think you all are getting it wrong in terms of considering our DJ playing doom as a variant of Tony Stark. Just because the actor is the same, doesn’t mean he’s a variant. The whole conceit we’ve been dealing with so far is it has to be the same person within the universe… Like Peggy Carter becoming Captain Carter. That’s not Haylee Atwell playing a completely different character. It’s Peggy Carter as a different version of Peggy Carter.
