Note: This game doesn't have much in the way of a soundtrack at the moment, so I added a few songs (so you can blame me if you don't like them!) :) Also, there are some places where you can read some optional flavor text, but I didn't want to stop and read it because it didn't feel in keeping with the gameplay (a thief's not going to stop and read a book in the middle of a heist), so if you'd like to read them, just pause the video.
Thanks for looking at the flavor text. And yeah, it's pretty awkward that the game keeps running while you're reading. It really disincentivises the player from looking for them. Either the game should pause, or the player just steals them and can look at them later.
There is a polish saying that goes "niósł wilk razy kilka, ponieśli i wilka" (Multiple times carried the wolf the loot off, he came in anither time, and they carried the wolf). It roughly means that if you attempt the same crime one too many times out of confidence you will be caught.
Alpha Beta Gamer: Valuables Inspector. "I here to make sure your priceless items are stored safe in the trunk of my car." Love the aesthetics like the grocery bag filling with loot.
The feel of this game is just incredible! The art and sound just give it such an engaging vibe, however the idea of this game makes me crazy. I've been robbed a couple of times before and it is just the shittiest thing in the world.
"Pizza's heeaah" got me pretty good. Looks like a fun game. My favorite part was 11:00, running out of the 3rd house with that stack of money, right in front of the cop car. Hilarious "Oh shit!" moment.
Ever since I started living with my partner, I've come to recognize those Chinese take out bags, since he also uses them to take his lunches to work, as he's a prison guard, meaning lunch boxes are more hassle than necessary.
While I love the art style and premise, I'm not really into the stealing from normal people thing. I think Thief worked so well cause we were nicking from complete scumbags, taking them down a peg or two and leaving them destitute, as they deserve. I'm pretty sure someone in a suburban house has enough to worry about these days without thieves.
Realistic though, since the roles are often reversed in real life. The upper middle class to upper class stealing from suburban folks. Lets face it, the thief in this game is no poor boy.
@armandostockvideos8386 not really, no. I enjoyed the earlier games, but even then, I would try not to kill people randomly on the street. The newer games are... not my thing, let's say, and that's me being charitable (although there are many more other reasons I dislike them than just the moral grounds).
You probably shouldn’t let real world morals dictate how much you enjoy the game, particularly because they’re not encouraging you to do irl. I think its compelling enough to play as a scumbag in a virtual setting if the end result is him being punished in some way, or perhaps commentating on something. Exploring those concepts are healthy. Unless its some edgy shlock like HATRED or Ræp Simulator, which are quite obviously made by sickos who are just out to cause chaos, then its at minimum understandable.
@@armandostockvideos8386 - Even in GTA, the game goes out of its way to paint every citizen of the city as either casually immoral, or a complete idiot. It's the poster child of indulgent chaos, and even it tried to soften the blow by reminding you that the nonexistent people you're indiscriminately murdering are terrible people as well. These games are about having fun doing things that are immoral in real life. But it's the things you're doing that are the appeal, not the fact that they're immoral.

Yeah, but the thief parked a running car right outside the first house for everyone to see. What a pro!

The happy face looking bloated when the bag is full is a hilarious detail.
True this game looks promising. Reminds me of that Retail Horror game with the hand grabbing mechanic.
Even stole the pizza... Cold
Frozen Pizza ?
He goes back into the house even after getting caught. The audacity

"Steal Anything That's Not Nailed Down" - okay, this is actually funny how far things are gone.
I really liked the stealth gameplay in this game, and the soundtrack is amazing, i really love the country vibe it has!
9:03 guess school is out for the kids tomorrow.
What a true hero!
0:43 "That's weird!" she exclaims scolding the front door before immediately opening it, making an about turn and bouncing it off the back of her head

Cat burglar extraordinaire.

1:02 does stealing a favourite potted plant count as kidnapping (for ransom)?

The sprite hands gave me a DOOM vibe.

Cool art style, game has a unique feel to it!

@@Ten_Thousand_Locusts - You say that like the dude knocked on your door just to tell you about prison lunchboxes.
In the end, the ultimate crook was the system itself.
It always has been unfortunately. It’s absurd that healthcare isn’t free smh.
I love the keepsake county theme👌
Looks like cool game
Impossible, the only things stolen by someone who drives an el camino are the hearts of millions

the first
Not a single head nod. Too much of a greasy goblin for head nods.
This game reminds me of Thief simulator, same idea (you're a modern burglar who steals shit) but made goofier and with low-effort assets.
Wtf
Stealing simulator
We need to have more compassion for thieves. Some people have to steal in order to make ends meet.
