What colour is this?
I'm planning to buy a Corolla Hatchback, but I can't decide whether to go for the 1.8 version with a bigger trunk or the 2.0 version with a smaller trunk. What do you recommend? Is there a significant difference in performance? Does it make sense to sacrifice trunk capacity?
Not a big difference, if you can drive both do it so you can notice, but i suggest 1.8
I made the same decision when I placed an order for one in September 2023. If you want a Hatchback, get a 1.8. The reason for this is that with a 2.0, the trunk size in HB is quite small. I mean for that price category of that car.
Wait for 2024 version, gonna have some improvements, 1.8 seems more reliable imo and you lose only 1,5-2s in 0-100 acceleration 😅
how come 2024 is improvement over 2023 ? in my toyota dealership they told me there is no difference can you reply please @@zepsujtosam07

You are lucky to be able to get the hatchback in a hybrid version . Here in canada there is only the 4 door sedan that can be ordered as a hybrid and we don't have the wagon/estate either...hybrid or not.
i have the sedan, and to me it looks much better, and it has much more space in the back.
Also the EU spec of the sedan is freaking gorgeous.
On acceleration above 30 km/h I notice that same strange whistling high pitched fluffy noice all the time. Previous generation didn't have that sound. Toyota dealer said he doesn't know what causes it. Do you have a clue?

Jest poprawne ale nic poza tym, troche bardziej wyciszone

Duża różnica w porównaniu do wersji 122 konnej?
Głowna roznica to naped hybrydowy 5 gen
Porównując przrdlift 1.8 do polifta 2.0 ( nie miałem okazji jezdzic 1.8) zbiera sie znacznie żwawiej.
Wiadomo to nie rakieta i nie ma 6 sek do 100, ale znacznie lepiej sie zbiera powiedzmy do 90km/h, szybciej i przy wiekszych predkosciach potrafi przejsc w tryb elektryczny( bodaj do 80 czy 90km/h z odpuszczonym gazem juz jedzie na prądzie).
Tak samo spalanie sie poprawiło.
Mój rekord to 3.4l/100 (miasto+miedzy miastowe 50-90km/h)
9k trzeba wpakować w wyciszenie+audio, 2k w zabezpieczenie podwozia 4k w instalację gazową i mamy elegancki dupowoz rodzinny w wersji kombi 😊
Haha troche późno, ale tak, ogromna. Mialem sluzbowke poprzednia 1.8 i mam ta nowa 2024 i to w koncu jedzie ok. A prywatnie mam jeszcze szybsze camry wiec jakies tam porownanie jest.
First off, apologies for not knowing how to speak Polish, but thanks for the upload. Secondly and finally, can you, please, test the Corolla Sedan 1.8 Hybrid 140 HP? Because that's the one I'm curious to see how fast and economical it is.

It's exactly as fast and as economical as the hatchback. It's the same car.
I don't think he'll be able to test it because the Corolla sedan isn't available for the Polish market, if I remember correctly.

@@serdarduyar9517 That's a good question. C-HR is currently even cheaper than Corolla GR. Nevertheless is "bigger" + real fuel consumption is higher + C-HR doesn't look better in my opinion.I think if you are used to driving a SUV you'd be satisfied :)

yeah, but fuel consumption is a third of that corolla e12

Sadly that's a typical behaviour of vehicles with a CVT gearbox.
Thats what happens when you floor the car every 2 seconds. While driving like a normal person, this is not happening. If you floor a normal car, it also downshifts and revs up.
140 hp or 200hp?, i dont now what model buy :/
thank you for showing me that when you press the accelerator >50% ( which is very very often) the engine howls SO LOUD. probably a great car but i can not stand this full rpm engine howling all the time...

Yeah, I trust Toyota its a well made car and when they came out pricing was good but now its crazy. But thats true for every car brand except for maybe Kia/Hyundai

@@DashCamGenovaNCC Here the tested version cost 54.000 euros and the cheapest Tesla Model 3 cost only 39.000 euros. Fossil cars are extremely expensive here due to taxes. ;)

Joe raczej lekkiej nogi to niema.
Other cars he tests even the small 1.0 engines use around 7,5L. He doesn't exactly drive economically. Otherwise you can get 3,4L with this car in the city as other RUclipsrs have shown.
@@sliwka621 i can confirm that. My best was 3.4L drvining in town + some country roads (50-90km/h)

Miesiąc pojeździsz i się nauczysz :) tylko 1 wrażenie nie zawsze jest dobre
bezstopniowe gówno polaczka od razu poznasz. Bez chamstwa nie przezyje. To auto ma manualny 1-szy bieg. Jezdzi lepiej niz VW ,czy Kia automatic.
4:18 kot pod maską napędza koła? A przy każdym parkowaniu w toyotach i ruszaniu zaciąga ręczny i spuszcza ręczny zawsze i to brzmi jak świnka łii, łii🐷, nie da się tego wyłączyć aby nie zaciągało ręcznego za każdym razem na równej drodze? Niezły zwierzyniec jest w tych autach. Taki sobie skuterek.
jaki ręczny, chodzi Ci o pomocniczy? tak, możesz go włączyć, defaultowo jest wyłączony. a ta "świnka" ;) to nie pomocniczy tylko elektryk lub eCVT tak działają, zakładam że coś z przeniesieniem napędu, ale nie wnikałem

W zimę to samo się dzieje. Mnie to drażni.
@@raysefo7 przy wyłączaniu samochodu to się zgadza, ale nie przy zatrzymaniu i ruszaniu o czym napisałeś w pierwszym poście. mam nadzieję że widzisz różnicę między zatrzymaniem a wyłączaniem samochodu? i nie tylko toyota stosuje takie rozwiązanie.
@@mnich63 Napisałem przy każdym parkowaniu, chodziło właśnie o wyłączenie układu po zaparkowaniu. Bez sensu ten system zaciągający ręczny bo ja bym chciał decydować o tym czy zaciągam ręczny czy nie. Na równej drodze zupełnie bez sensu, w zimę przy minusowych temperaturach także. Zastanawia mnie co producent miał na myśli.
@@raysefo7 zapewne ochrpnę ukladu napedowego. dowalasz się... tu slychac jak pracuje elektryka, w manualnych ręcznych tryka zaciągana linka ;) co za różnica?
