I used to work at one of the leading cancer research hospitals in the world. So many of the doctors there drank like fish and smoked like chimneys. Of all the people who should have really understood the risks, it should have been those people. So a doctor being a thrill junky and driving too fast seems pretty on point to me actually.
How have you not got to at least 10k subs yet? Your editing is always top notch and your reactions are way more insightful and well-thought-out than most other channels out there.
I agree but she needs to add the latest and hottest culty properties that people can never get enough of, such as new seasons of "Doctor Who." And "Fallout." And anything new MCU (like "X-Men '97") and Star Wars.
@@michelleneedsahobby Hey, you're young so go out and break hearts :) and have fun! RUclips will be here when you get back :) And as we see from the post-credit "Marvels" sequence and "X-Men '97," the Marvel Age has just begun!
Benedict Cumberbatch is a brilliant actor. May I recommend the British (BBC) series SHERLOCK (with Cumberbatch & Martin Freeman as Holmes & Watson!) for a reaction? If you haven't seen it of course.
Several times I tried getting into comics. All of my early attempts were twarted by the lack of scans online, and all of my later attempts found really good series that were killed off just as the series were getting good. This movie gave me the desire to try one more time, and now Doctor Strange is my favorite hero. One thing I have to give to Marvel: they WILL finish a story. It may be horrid, anti-climatic, and happen years after a story gets dropped... but they WILL finish a story.
I do love this one and doctor Strange in general. The effects in this one are so amazing and seeing all of those actors together was unexpected. The actor that voiced Dormomo himself was actually Benedict so in a way he is talking to himself there haha. I love the use of bending time and space in this one and worping reality as well and yes it was so mamazing to see it on the big screen. Grate reaction and glad you liked it because it is honostly one of my favorite in the MCU.
ur seriously so underrated like this is the best reaction channel ive ever come across. like ur so insightful always understand and appreciate the complexity of characters i love it 🙏🙏
THANKS for this!!! Yes, "Civil War" is quite an accomplishment. I'm watching this now, but I think that, like the rest of us, you will love this character despite himself :) I don't have an answer to the question, "Why do I like this character more in *other* people's movies than his?" :) And he didn't want to give up the watch because Christine gave it to him. And yes, it was kewl to see in theaters. I'm 56 and the Marvel Universe has been my favorite space (fantasy or reality) since my '70s childhood. When you're bored, look up here and enjoy a 1972 Spider-Man "Rockomic" album called "From Beyond The Grave"; it co-stars the Sorcerer Supreme (and his *cloak* ). Trivia: the voice of Spider-Man/Peter Parker on that album is a young Rene Auberjonois, decades before becoming Odo on "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine." Marvel sticks to the ribs. I'm glad you are enjoying your journey and I hope you stay for a while afterwards.
Stephen Strange my favorite MCU hero ❤ Benedict Cumberbatch was a perfect cast. You should watch BBC Sherlock and The Imitation Game I highly recommend them. This is easily my favorite MCU origin solo movie.
Fun little fact for you. Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) Wong (Benedict Wong) and Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) reportedly all good friends in real life. BTW if haven't seen the movie "The Martian" starring Matt Damon then you should check it out and see how many MCU actors are in that movie.
This movie, along with Civil War, is Marvel at its best. The visuals, acting, dialogue and conflicts are incredible. The fact that Strange´s hands are at the end still shaking, but he had found a new purpose? The "Its not about you" conversation? The duel with Domamu and the "You cannot win""No, but I can loose, again and again, and again"? And Strange himself can't technically control time, it's the free stone that does it, the Time Stone (one of the six Infinity Stones). They are very dangerous to use because of their power and so should only rarely been used.
@@erikagholston6610 It's the first one he opens with. He says "I've got a 35 year old Air Force Colonel, crushed his lower spine in some kind of experimental armor."
@@Erik-kim-8964 I don't think anyone sat down and did the math, it's an Easter egg. How many Air Force Colonels do you think have lower spinal injuries from "experimental armor" in the US?
Dr Strange does not really have control over time. That is not one of his normal powers. That comes from when he wears the Time Infinity Stone. In the comics he does not even have that. This is just a movie thing. And yes, all of the Infinity Stones are OP. Well, most of them are. That being said, Dr Strange is a very powerful character without an Infinity Stone.
In the comics, Strange did have the Time Stone right before Infinity Warps. But Marvel's doing weird thing right now where the stones are laughably weak by themselves (and stronger as you gather more stones), and the Time Stone could only move things around 30 seconds... so it definitely wasn't any real increase in power to him.
I like how your well spoken if u wasn’t doing RUclips I could see u Working for CNN or being a commissioner or something to do with talking and being in front the camera shid u could even be an actor
11:35 thank u for getting where stephen was coming from. she’s all he has and it’s an asshole move no doubt but it makes sense he goes after the way he did.
Speaking about OP- while Strange is powerful, Wanda is actually one of the most powerful beings. Remember, she and her brother were experimented on with an Infinity Stone (the one that Loki used to control people in "Avengers" and the one that ended on upon Vision`s head in "Age of Ultron") and she literary absorbed part of it.
@@laurainathunderstorm You should watch it. To avoid spoiling it, I'll just say that my comment is accurate: They never bring up that plot twist again.

To be fair, Strange was originally written as a smoker, and his drifter days usually depicted through the haze of booze.
Trapping a Lovecraft-esque horror god in a time loop until it rage quits is still one of my favorite Marvel movie climaxes.
underrated comment😂

I forget the wording of it all, but one of the patients that is described to Strange in the car is Rhodey.

Well ACTUALLY it's not a cape it's a cloak!!! It's called the Cloak of Levitation
It takes but a single word to shake someone to their core
Idk what you're talking about it's clearly a flap coat
