I’m a heavy runner, i’m a mid to fore foot runner, the longest i’ve run is half marathon. I never tried 1s and 2s, i just got my invincible 3s for 2 weeks now. I ran 30miles on them. I love it as there’s smooth transition from mid to fore foot, you feel the zoomx, i don’t feel the road at all. But when i tried fore foot i don’t like it, i feel the zoomx but not as prominent when im running on a mid to forefoot, its like im running on novablast 3 . I never had heel slips but i use runner’s knot. As for stability, i don’t feel any instability at all.
I’m in love with the Nike invincible 3’s. I tried them on in a run4it store and it fit like a glove. I injured my knee a couple of years ago and whenever it flares up, I run in my Nikes and it makes the discomfort disappear. So comfortable and I can’t definitely feel them taking pressure off of my joints. I even use them as a recovery aid after doing runs that have hurt my feet and legs, they really help, I pop them on and walk around the house and they soothe my feet nicely. Maybe not the best shoes for people used to running as you can get better performance from other shoes and might not need as much cushioning, but for beginners or people recovering from injuries, they are a magical experience!
Stretch and do some weight workout for leg muscles. Remember they sooth and take the pressure of joints, but the joins are still flared up, and you are putting more pressure on them when they are asking for rest
It seems so simple, but I love that you actually show your feet in the shoes to show us the fit. I don't know why other reviewers don't do that. I've watched enough of your reviews and bought enough shoes over the years to know a shoe fits me TTS about the same as Mike and that's incredibly helpful! Keep up the good work!
I looveee....how you guys have fastly different opinions about this shoes! That makes this channel unique. And yes, after getting lots of review, this Nike "mythical creature" is like a doppelganger or a shapeshifter. Everyone can have very different feeling running in this shoes. Usually one shoes have that sort of "general opinion", but this one is definitely not! Some love it, some hate it. Is it good? Is it bad? Only you can tell.
I came over to the 3 from the Clifton 9 and I’m really enjoying it so far. The responsive cushion is incredible. No issues with heel, and perhaps the lock down loops helped. Love these shoes.
Love that heel clip design. Similar to the heel clip in the Adizero range. Less is more. Spongy, puffy heel clips suck up sweat in the summer & rain in the winter. I dont have any of the "skinny heel & tongue" issues reviewers complain about. I love the lack of mass/bulk of that design. Do not enjoy the locked down feel on my feet at all! Invincible 3 is the first Nike running shoe I've bought since '81. It's THAT good imo. Guess we're all different.
Runners knot fixes heal slip. Love these and rotate them with NB FfX more as these can pick up the pace better but still super protective for a bigger runner.
I have the V3 and initially I felt the heel slip a little but it was noticeable. I do wear a wide and also have small ankles. Tying a runners knot solved this problem completely. The shoe feels very stable and secure. Idk why people say these are heavy? These shoes are not heavy at all. You will not feel the difference in ounces because of the comfort of these shoes. I’m naturally a heal striker but this shoe helps me run on my forefoot imo. I recommend this shoe just don’t expect it to be an all around running shoe because it’s not.
I love the shoe. I'm a seasoned runner. My last shoes was the asics superblasts and metaspeed sky plus.... The bikes are apart of my rotation. Ultra cushioned and ultra comfy! Warning though the heel slip was very bad so for me the runners knot was required. Without the runners knot it would have been sent back. But after using the runners knot it's a perfect training shoe for me
Completely agree with Tom I love the magic of the first two invincible runs but I didn’t like the 3. The 3 would have been a okay shoe if it didn’t have the heel slip but the first two versions where in a league of there own in how good they where
Great to watch the dedication and love from Jane to the Inviceble's....one big love letter..😂😂....but I've to agree with her , best max cush shoes ever..(after over 500km in the version 2 )
Got an order of the IV3s on the way. Not had an IV before, interesting to hear most people say the IV2s were better for them. I've never had a max foam shoe before, so to me, the IV3s seemed incredibly bouncy in the store. Plenty bouncy for me. I might have to go see if I can try on the IV2s tomorrow out of curiosity, but I think I like the look of the IV3s more slightly, and I'm not sure Ill miss the extra bounce as Ive never tried it. So I think I would trade that for a bit more stability, and I did like how wide the shoe was for support. Having said that, Ive never had an expensive shoe before so I might be uneducated in the options. I have a feeling that the IV3 will do the job well, and for my next shoe I'll do more due diligence on the other brands/options, etc
I just got my IV3s and also never owned an of the previous invincibles. I am enjoying the the shoe. From what the reviews say I am feeling the firmness and more stability in the shoe and can see myself stocking up on these.
So I've been wearing them for a few weeks now and I do really like them. I can see some slight heel slip, but if I do the laces extra well/runner knot, the issue goes away. Better than any running shoe I've had before, and they are quite comfy to go for a stroll in, too. I feel I would be keen to try an IV2 just out of curiosity as its been mentioned so much, but as an amateur runner, I've got no complaints with the IV3s. I also have the blue ones, which I like the look of a lot, kind of reminds of 80s retro & back to the future.
Had the v3 a few weeks now on the last run I returned home and put the v2 back on which was so much softer and more comfortable sorry but they ruined something really good with the latest update.
Enjoyed V1 and V2, dislike the V3, if I use a lock with the laces, I get multiple hot spots on the top of my foot, in the arch are. Get very painful after 5 or so miles. Not a fan of V3, and am looking for alternatives
@@filoIIII’m returning the tmr ihave never had shoes that were meant to be comfy so these were my first ones and they felt like they were going inwards and my heel felt loose I was so disappointed
I love my Adipro 3s and now use them as a training shoe (since buying the 4 "for best"). EXCEPT when I walk around on uneven ground before or after a run & the buggers want to roll my ankles constantly. It's unsettling to say the least. Doesn't happen when I'm running but if it did, that'd be instability. That scary feeling you could tip over at any moment - imagine that on a run. Ruinous.
Got a pair on black Friday for $100. Went on a run and got shin splints and then had hip pain for a couple days after. Thinking it was way to much cushion for me. Going to return for a more minimalist shoe
Unfortunately the heel slipping is an issue. I sent them back, because no way to avoid that. All over the shoe is good on cushioning, and the design and color ( Ocean blue) is very nice, but the heel problem makes it unusable for me.
I have ridiculous heel slippage in V2. Very difficult time getting a good lockdown. The heel on these look more narrow but surprisingly everyone says slippage is worse. Also they didn’t experience slippage in V2. 🤯
I just bought the last pair of Invincible 2s I could find for my half marathon after putting 350+ miles in the Invincible 1s. I tried the 3s in a store and I think I agree with everyone here - they are different and not in a good way.
I have a lot of different shoes these are the first I've bought where the shoelaces are way to short with or without socks anyone else have that happen to them other than that love these shoes
Cheers 👍! I put a slightly thicker insole into my v1s when that started to happen after 300+ miles - one from the Pegasus. Might help here too. Probably better off just buying a discounted V2 though 🙂
I need advice for a running watch, all I want is a basic watch that tracks simple stats but also has the ability to offer some navigation and the ability to load routes on to it. I was considering the Garmin 255s, the Garmin 245 and the Suunto 5peak. The 245 is reduced quite a lot now because it’s an older model and the Suunto I can pick up for £170 so it’s quite cheap too. The 255s is obviously a lot more expensive because it’s newer but is it worth it? Any help would be really appreciated!
Normally I would get a half size up to have extra space for the toes, I even have wide feet. Although with the heel slip for this one kinda gonna be worse if I do that... Everyone says true to size but when running your foot expands over time so wouldnt It be best to go half size up? I'm size 10 and I went 10.5 for it. I wanna feel how much space for the toes if I go size 10 in the store before buying off Nike app
@@marshallgouts6675 I tried it on at the store and half size up isn't needed. I might agree with you! Only thing is that the nimbus doesn’t give any bounce , only mushy mellow for recovery run. Not in a bad way but I can’t do tempo with nimbus at all. With the invincible 3 I still can do tempo and in an acceptable manner. Love them both ❤ for different things

Asics gel nimbus 25 is very comfortable.
I had to return V3 precisely because of the reasons you mentioned. What a let down
We need a Tom Vs Jane, More Vs Invincible
What does an “unstable” shoe feel like? I’ve never been in a shoe where I didn’t feel stable so I’m always confused on what to look for
prime x is the postal child for unstable. Especially if you run on roads or trails that are in rough conditions.

Is the strobel under the insole ??
@@mrluis9456 yes it’s the thing with the stitching You can cut the stitching and take it out using an exacto nife or something else that’s sharp.
Thoughts vs On CloudEclipse?
when you say true to size, does that mean adding half a size up is not needed? or true to size then add half a size up for foot expansion?

The lockdown is horrible. Heel slip and achilles rub. Seems like a gimmick shoe in the bouncy shoe wars.
I can't recommend them, they have bad heel slippage! Also the material is not really breathable and it's not a stable shoe.
