- Gidon Kremer is known to musicians the world over. He is known as a man who has new ideas but also as one of the liveliest performing musicians in the world today. Gidon Kremer is the man who has done more for contemporary composers in the last quarter of the 20th century. His latest and most passionately held idea is the formation of a new orchestra drawn from the youth of three Baltic states: Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. He calls this the “Kremerata Baltica”.

i believe Mr Kramer is closer to Mr Menuhin in his view about musicality and virtuosity, difficult dilemma when you actually have reached both

Yes. you've made a career, you're a good violinist, but do not forget that the first one was the one that always was ahead of you.
Wut?
He may be referring to Hirschorn
you mean Mr Oistrakh? then what, there will be no other like him, but let us be ourselves!
@@diegeigergarnele7975 I believe Kremer has "won" in the long term.
