- If you remembered GTA London 1961/1969, you might recognize these terms: "You're Brown Bread!" and "You're Nicked!" whenever the player dies or gets arrested.
"You're Brown Bread!" = "Wasted"
"You're Nicked!" = "Busted"
How to change the “Busted” and “Wasted” text? Use OpenIV and then use a custom global.gxt2 file. Don’t use it in GTA Online however! You will get banned if you use mods in GTA Online! If you don’t like messing around with editing the “Busted” and “Wasted” text, you can simply find the mod here (which is by Ohhh123r): www.gta5-mods....
2:12 damn that police almost rammed over by a bus
Why is Wasted referred to as Brown Bread?
Because if you play GTA London, the terms when the player gets busted or wasted use British slang in addition to “Busted” or “Wasted”.
Cockney Rhyming Slang - "Brown Bread" means "Dead"
