My county uses work release from jail to do the work around here. But that is a good idea give them purpose again that's not a hand out but a hand up
With the exception of Al, the world is living in the age of greed. It seems no one will help without asking for money. Shame
Some homeless people are mentally ill. Some are substance abusers. If they were using city equipment, they would have to be trained and supervised. It's not as easy as your husband thinks.
I pray the young ladies are alright as they can be. I know how it is loosing both parents at a young age. Rest in peace to their mom and dad.

When I was young my friend and I rented a small house we both worked but had no money for yard tools. A generous brother -in-law drove an hour and a half to mow for us and I never forgot his help and these girls won't either ❤

I know losing parents can be difficult and I lost mine 21 years apart. Losing both at the same time is even harder. Now that the yard looks awesome, maybe the girls could plant a small garden in their memory.
It is hard losing both parents close together. I lost my dad in January and my mom in August of the same year.

You are truly an inspiration, Al. I had the opportunity to do some outreach through my church 2 weeks ago, and a friend of mine asked if I could do another yard last weekend, so I did. The lady is 80 y/o with mild dementia and her yard was OVERgrown. A friend from church, his two young daughters, my 27 y/o son and I spent the better part of 3 hours and tamed the yard. She was very emotional when she saw the finished product. Keep up the good work and the good vibes, Brotha!

I sometimes leave a quick message after watching your videos. I have to say with this one that I am amazed how hard work from one person can impact so many others. I am 60 yrs old with RA and with each approaching spring/summer I dread having to drag out my push mower and clean up my yard. Sometimes, I am simply not able to do it and cannot afford to pay to have the yard cut. I can no longer use my weed-eaters (gas or electric one) and I envy the homes I see you trim around.
