  • Angry Male Lion Loses His Temper
    In January of 2024, we visited the Moditlo River Lodge near the Kruger National Park in South Africa for a wildlife safari. We didn’t know it would turn into such a wild safari.
    While taking pictures of 2 female lions and one male lion, all of a sudden the male lion lost his temper and attacked the female lion. This scared all of the people on the safari, as well as the two female lions.
    It is very important to remain calm in situations like this.
    A big shoutout to the incredible team at Moditlo.
    As always, nature makes me feel so small…
    What an incredible experience this was!

      @sorellman 9 месяцев назад +10

      Two or three of four things about that. The tour group cars are on the dirt road. They are where they are supposed to be. The lions may have approached them after they were already stopped. We only look at part of the video. The lions do not seem at all bothered by them. As a matter of fact, they do not even acknowledge them. It is obvious the lions are used to visitors and cars. The male lion is triggered by one of the lionesses, not by humans. We should be as close to the animals as possible without harming them.

      He's pissed because he got bit in the ass by the female lol. These trucks aren't in any way considered as a bunch of humans giving them no peace, with strange technology. These trucks and occupants are part of the lion's environment (since cubs) the same way other animals are.
      They look upon the vehicles as large animals, like elephants, and not multiple individuals. Lions don't see them as a threat either so it has no instincts to attack... That's why they walk by them or can lie down so close.
      These people on safari bring a lot of money into the economy and the neighbouring towns, so there's no harm in them putting on these tours. They have a lot of respect for the wildlife. Not even close to being like inner city zoos. So no need to be so disgusted.

  • @MegaAztec69
    @MegaAztec69 6 месяцев назад +24

    What I can never understand is these vehicles being open top and so close. In Safari parks in the UK , there are constant signs and audible announcements stressing constantly for you to keep all windows and doors locked at all times. You are not even supposed to open a window an inch. Yet these people sit right next to these dangerous animals calmly in open cars. How this is even allowed amazes me , from a health and safety risk also the potential of lawsuits if things go wrong.
