Madison (WI) Fire Department On Scene Footage of Structure Fire

The City of Madison (WI) Fire Department was alerted to a possible structure fire at 2822 Ashford Ln, Madison, WI at 09:19 PM on Thursday, January 25, 2024. The unit assignment for this call included Car 31, Engine 4, Engine 9, Engine 7, Ladder 7, Ladder 6, and Medic 6. The caller reported flames coming out of the ceiling in their bathroom, from a light fixture. Ladder 6 arrived first due and gave their initial first in report, sizing up a two story, wood frame, multi-family dwelling with nothing showing. Ladder 6 confirmed that they needed a line up to the second floor. Engine 7 arrived second due and stretched their pre-connect 1 3/4 to the second floor fire room.
