    SO many cool things you can do by just using the shift key. Sound aspects aside, really well thought out!

    Really glad to see you went with Tone Projects on this. Haven't demo'd it yet but I know it sounds amazing. The dynamic EQ and tube controls put this over the top.

    Why, you sneaky people! Making one of the finest sounding plugin EQs I’ve ever heard… I was planning not to spend any more money this year on plugins/gear. But then you had to go and make this! Curses, and thank you! 🥇

      😉 Yeah. Being able to quickly dial in euphonic highs and presence frequencies, or tighten up the bass. Used to work in a studio with old tube gear (Fairchild etc), and that’s the great thing about that type of hardware; use your ears and in 3 minutes you’ve got the right sound. Great to hear that level of quality in the box. This one is joining Kush EQs, P42 & Magenta in my plugin folder (my compliments, that’s great company to be in). Great work!

    DAMN YOU! 😂Between this demo and the actual plugin demo I'm sold. I'm just broke so I'll have to make some sacrifices, but wont be the first time someone has done that to make things sound cool.

    This is by far the best filigrane in the box tone shaper I’ve ever come across. I really like this approach.
    To fine tune eq, transient response and even dynamics of bands, together with different types of saturations and their amounts and directly hear the interaction is so well thought out. Awesome Job guys.
    Is it possible to implement delta listening options ? That would be great. Cheers.

    I'm just scratching the surface with this new plugin and I can already tell it's one of the best plugins ever made. I own the hardware version too. Can we please have a wet/dry knob?

    • @HendyampsStudios
      @HendyampsStudios  10 месяцев назад +1

      I'm happy you are enjoying it! Regarding the Wet/Dry control, that will be a question for Rune as we have talked about it but the design makes it tricky to do well, and no one wants a wet/dry control that is not implemented well! If it can be done then I would expect to see it in an update down the road.

  • @lumicstudio3525
    @lumicstudio3525 8 месяцев назад

    Since it's a real colour box (along with being an EQ), when using it in mastering session would you use it first to roughly sculp and form the mix with subtle saturation taming off the peaks and then do all the rest of mastering processing. Or you would use Michaelangelo later in the chain before main compression (but after all corrective moves)?

    • @HendyampsStudios
      @HendyampsStudios  8 месяцев назад

      I generally use the MA first in the chain in order to tame peaks and fix a lot of issues in the mix. From there, much less gear and treatment is typically needed afterwards. This is true for the hardware and software and I generally use both together in mastering.

  • @LucasMichalski
    @LucasMichalski 8 месяцев назад

    Thank you for such a great tutorial. One quick question. I`m quite confused with low/mid/high/air freq little knobs in the Advanced menu. What do they do? You mentioned they change the Q but I can hear they change the frequency band. I mean when using them you can read both X (multiplier) but also Hz changes. Can you clarify what turning those little freq knobs actually do? Thank you

    • @HendyampsStudios
      @HendyampsStudios  8 месяцев назад

      Good question...I think i somewhat misspoke about the Q and would be more accurate in describing them as moving the control up or down the frequency range. This does impact the Q to a certain degree as it interacts with the other bands which is why, in my head, I have categorized it as a bit of a Q control, but it is not "properly" a Q control.
      I hope this helps!

    • @LucasMichalski
      @LucasMichalski 8 месяцев назад

      @@HendyampsStudios thank you for the answer. So basically it's just moves the either shelf or bell (mods) around. So for example by moving the MIDS little Freq knob I move it from let's say 700Hz down to 650? Thank you

    • @HendyampsStudios
      @HendyampsStudios  8 месяцев назад

      @@LucasMichalski yes that is generally the idea though there is a bit of a Q shift that naturally takes place as it starts butting up against and interacting with the other eq bands around it

    Why do I feel the fullness decreases greatly when you trim down the TRIM knob?

    • @HendyampsStudios
      @HendyampsStudios  9 месяцев назад +1

      You feel that way because lowering the Trim limits the amount of harmonic content that is generated in the MA. For a squeaky clean output trim use the output control on the bottom right of the plug. Sometimes lowering the Trim can be helpful for controlling the shape of the drive as it will only allow for the first gain stage to be heavily affected instead of the second, but it is not to be thought of as a properly transparent trim control

    What’s the plugin like on CPU consumption? Can it go on every Track? Or just master bus?

    • @HendyampsStudios
      @HendyampsStudios  10 месяцев назад +2

      I put it on every track and it is great! The drop down allowing you to select the "quality" is helpful here as Pristine is a mem hog but the lower settings are WAY more efficient and easy for multiple instances
