The a380 is a perfect example of “Bigger isn’t always better”
In Texas it is
better for passnger, most comfortable plane
747 was just the right size
Let’s go A350
thats what she said 🤌👽👽😭😭😭
The A380 only survived in emirates
And qantas
Emirates has like the biggest fleet. They are already ordering the 777X
Korean air, ANA, asiana, thai
@@salamandertheavgeeknot really, they’re actually trying to phase those out
And British airways
The a380 is like a premium subscription version of the 747

The A380 impressed me greatly as a child, yet still has an influence on me to fly a plane. It’s sad to see a childhood companion as (as I would say) go away.
There might have been a better chance for the A380 to be produced longer if the A380F was actually made.
It’s sad to see amazing planes like the A380 and 747 go into retirement and being scrapped. Less and less people care about these beautiful machines as time goes on.
Hoping that Global Airlines will restore the A380's glory a little!

Eventhough the A380 was a faliure, it provided a lot of media coverage for Airbus and proved that they are capable of manufacturing such incredible machines like Boeing or maybe even better, eventhough they are much younger than Boeing.
I’m ngl, recent events got me thinkin Airbus>Boeing 🥶🥶🥶

You can trust airbus as they release great planes but not boeing as almost all of the planes they made are failures💀
Yay! A documentary video! Finally!
i think the fact the 727 might outlive the a380 is an insult💀
There’s over 100 a380 active, but only 23 727. Still could tho
@@mohwybar5832theres 240 a380s active
757 Outlive the A380, Narrow body planes makes economical sense than wide body planes, they burn less fuel, there easier to train more pilots, and lot of rookie pilots could easily fly the 757 perfectly fine.
Ice 711 is so good at explaining everything, definitely a great video!
Not the low quality memez!!!!

Nice video! Really love "middle esstern" carriers!
Same middle esstern carriers are 🔥
Fun fact: On 4th November 2010, Qantas 32 was scheduled to be from London to Sydney via Singapore, when it took off from Singapore, it was flying over Batam Island, Indonesia just 4 minutes after takeoff, then it had an engine failure so they make an emergency landing heading back to Singapore and then it finally had a successful landing so all of the people survived in the A380 (those Qantas 32 pilots are heros/legends)
Forgot to mention that incident in the video!

I love the A380, and I have been on the Air France A380. I am sad it retired though and hopefully I will be able to fly on another A380 before they all retire. Great video Ice!!
Thanks! I hope I’ll be able to fly on the A380 as well, and film the experience for both myself and you guys as always.
I just went planespotting at LHR, and I saw 4 of them. Even though it isn't the best aircraft in terms of efficiency, it was still an amazing sight!
love your content
To think the 747 LASTED IN PRODUCTION FOR NEARLY 40 YEARS than the A380 to the point of the last units built the LAST A380 (FOR EMIRATES was built in 2021) while the LAST EVER 747 BUILT for ATLAS AIR was in 2023 meaning d 747 was still in production a little longer after the A380 stopped production such a FOREVER INCREDIBLE STORY (despite BOEING’s reputation these past years)
I love this airplane and actually flew on it, I find it sad that it is coming to an end just like the 747. Big isn’t always better
regarding the infrastructure costs: London Heathrow (which I think has the most A380 service of any airport in the world) spent close to $1B on upgrades for A380 compatibility
to clarify: I meant by number of airlines servicing the airport with A380s, not necessarily the most A380 flights (Dubai might have an edge in that arena).
I believe another reason could be because it's hard to find 500 people going to the exact same destination from the same place at the same time
True as well lol. Something I didn’t mention was the idea of megahubs and how the A380 would operate out of those, and passengers would have a connecting flight to their final destination out of that megahub. Turns out the idea of airport megahubs didn’t turn up like Airbus thought it would.

I am from Mexico, and I have only seen the A380 fly overhead once on its approach to Mexico City's International Airport. I was surprised an airplane that big could be so quiet. It is truly a marvel in the sky, I just wish I have a chance to fly on one before they are completely replaced.
Can you please do a video on the 100% Canadian designed the Avro Arow?

I just saw my first A380 not even a few days ago.
I was flying out of Dallas Fort Worth, and I just happen to stumble upon it, as well as Qatar A350.
Both were fantastic sight.
at least the A380 had no fatal accidents, which can’t be said about basically every other type of Airplane/craft

what songs do you use in your videos?
i have been on it multiple times, and the experience is much better than the efficiency
The Airbus A380 is making a comeback but in hydrogen. The project is called Zeroe and it may restart all A380 operations.

Opinion on Boom Overture?
Still great plane no matter what, but for me Concorde and 747 are the best
4:37 Stratolaunch is imo biggest, but A380 definitly biggest airliner. Also thx for noticing my previous comment! 🎉
Atleast we can still on some of them (lufthansa uses some of em)
And emirates of course.
I really like it, not because it’s big, but because it takes some crazy engineering and technology to make it and I really like that kinda stuff
Finally new video again!
Its my dream to fly this amazing plane at least once in my life, passanger or pilot
I’ve been in one literally just like any other flight except your aware of the fact that somebody is above you/below you
Crazy data!😊
While the a380 is a very impressive feat of aeronautical engineering, I feel like it was a major misread from Airbus on where the airline industry was heading.
I live near Pearson Airport ( YYZ) and it was pretty cool seeing one of these land from a distance about three years ago.
It truly breaks my heart seeing a 380 or 747 sitting in a scrapyard. Just thinking of all the history and glory💔
4:18 middle esstern moment
3:51 - 3:58, I agree 747 is better than A380 was still somewhat successful, also… misspelling of eastern at 4:21. :D Great work as always though!
Although I take that back, maybe you made a new word, “Middle Esstern”.
I flew the British airways A380 o’hare to Heathrow. It was a pleasant ride there and I had no complaints. But I day before we were due to fly out they cancelled our flight ( on a A380 ) back to O’hare. ( still with British airlines ) they rebooked us on a flight to Houston, and then a American Airlines flight to o’hare. The real pain was A. The flight was longer because to get to Houston we literally fly over Chicago. And B. Some how our luggage didn’t get put on even tho we gave it to some “ baggage “ attendants who where goofing off. We did get our bags back, and I think they later said the flight was canceled because we didn’t have many people on our flight so they canceled it so they could use the a380 for some other flight with more people.
I love the editing and all! The music is just a bit too loud 🥲
I get a notification so ill say more:
Maybe a bit too loud for me, but please keep making more content i love the humor sprinkle in 🗣️🗣️🗣️
