You guys are seriously wild...question, you guys ever find stuff down there that doesn't make any sense? Like, previous cultures? I am going down the rabbit hole with the whole US being the old world and interested if you guys ever seen anything just straight up weird. Thanks, keep it up!
I was watching another video and had to stop and find a more recent one, just to see if you lived thru the one I was watching. All I can thing about is, your poor mother!!!
Just an FYI from a rock climber - spinning hangers on bolts aren't a safety issue unless the bolt itself can be moved or there's clearly a lot of space between the hanger and the rock. You can bring a small wrench with you to tighten spinners if you want, just take care not to overtighten them since that can actually make them unsafe.
I truly enjoy the adventures y’all take me to. This is the only way I would be able to see the wonderful underworld. Even when the walls start closing in and you squeeze through the tight holes… My anxiety 😟 rises and I feel overwhelmed holding my breath. Knocking on wood, that you never get stuck. Thank you for the journey and adventure.
It is incredible that you are seeing formations that took thousands of years to create, and even 10's of thousands of years for some. So much is below our feet that we can't even imagine.
Wow that was amazing! Thanks for taking me along with you! I had a great time. It was great that you had some girls with us too. They made the trip more enjoyable. Looking forward to our next trip together. I got a cave on my land, but the opening is too small to get in. I am thinking to rent an excavator to open up the entrance. I was planting some small bushes at 11pm and heard several loud bang sounds coming from the ground below me. Then felt the ground shaking. So I know the cave is a big one! This summer a sink hole opened up, so that might become a better entrance.
10:25 is careless. Either get on rope correctly, or don't use it at all. If nothing else, wrap it under your rear end, but even that isn't wise. Your knees and caving won't last long if that is kept up.
This is the only youtube channel where I make sure to watch every video. Love watching your adventures, every single one is uniquely exciting to watch.
The only thing worse than falling into this hole at night is falling into a cenote in the middle of the jungles of the Yucatan... Nothing but water, and not a single way to scale up that dome... LOTS of ancient artifacts and bones in them.... Cool reason to become a cave diver... Got me started in 2010... Dry caves actually make me nervous in restrictions sometimes... Total reverse crazy... I've trained and done expedition sidemount cave, when you nomount (take off you tanks) and shove through underwater, sometimes exhaling to get past restrictions... Dunno.. Should be opposite... Thanks for the videos guys!!

@@jroysdon sometimes you just concentrate on what your doing instead of trying to be cool and impress the ladies. That’s how a lot of accidents occur anyways. Showboating 101 😆
Earthquakes happen all the time. These caves are very old and stable. Every responsible caver goes with at least two spare light sources (another headlamp and a handheld light).
It was on I'd say a 80ft tall hill, yes the opening was about 25ft down the hill from the top on the south side.👍 are you asking cause you recognize it?
This stuff is cool. Do you guys ever find un explored ones to explor. Or do you just know a bunch of already discovered and explored places through friends and shit
We actually found 3 that have never been explored this summer with these dudes., 2 only us have been in, and 1 was pre known to be a small cave but we chiseled out a wall that lead us to a pit and 30 minutes of new passage only we have been in. It's always a adventure that's for sure. We love this stuff
I would say you have some more distracting chatter going on than usual here. Your guy there pretty much fell as somebody was mocking his footwear. Not good.
Yeah, this could have been much worse than how it turned out. It’s potentially worse than a chatter issue, especially if it’s known that this is his “usual” demeanor. Other vids show some participants running through passages, where one actually fell 3x, finally complaining of some kind of injury. Wildman or not, whoever is leading the trip should have ensured Cavezip (and others) were properly geared before entry, and at least prevented/stopped any option of him attempting to “Indiana Jones” (9:55) a pit……in sandals. Even ole Indy himself is unlikely to self-extricate with a compound femoral fracture, three pits deep. When caving is driven by monetized content creation, there’s a fairly obvious dynamic at work here, where more risky behaviors are taken when one is aware they’re being filmed. I hope someone recognizes this and effects some changes in time to prevent a more disastrous outcome in the future.
Cavezip has been caving for 32 years 4 months 3 days and 46 minutes as of now, he is a professional, he had that 100% under control, and hopefully nothing you say will change or alter the caving animal he is to this day. He fears no cave, nor pit. I watched this man free climb out of a 350ft pit barefoot in a waterfall with no shirt on in the middle of winter while eating a double cheese burger in one hand, he's a complete Wildman.
@@funfinding4two955 What happened at 10:28, in that last 18-20 feet was NOT a controlled descent. The witnesses (young lady and one of the twins) even remarked "you mean to do that?" and "wow, you good?" Look, I'm not trying to randomly come down hard on any of you. I'm sure Cavezip is a fun dude above and below-ground. The point is it's really not about one person or their resume of good times, but what kind of underground risks are allowed and taken or averted by the group. Those are things decided before entry. One person's decision could imperil the rest of the group. Caving ought to be fun and there's no question the entire audience is entertained. But, that the group has so far avoided (to my knowledge) a more major mishap is no guarantee one won't happen, given decisions made here and in a few other videos. Hopefully, you're as mentally/physically prepared as a group for that possibility as you are coming away with the fun memories.
