Nice.. For bending heated metal like that, an adjustable wrench is awesome. Make it the thickness of the metal and pull or push. It also doesn’t make tooth marks in the metal.
last summer we didn't do a hay wagon but one of those hay basket wagons. we brought it at an online auction took us 2 hours to get there, half hour at the auction place and 2 and a half hours towing it home. it was in better shape than we expected. only thing we did was a quick spray down of the lower parts and greased all the fittings. After auction price, fees, gas and a lunch we had just shy of $600 in it plus our labor which was mainly getting it and towing it home. we sold it for $1800. best part was the area we got it from was an old stomping grounds for me as a kid so it was nice to go visit and see that area again after so long.
Can you link me the thompsons you used? Ive tried to run the water seal through multiple pump sprayers and I cant ever get it to come out right. It always looks like a pee stream
I use the transparent or semi transparent. The color is usually lighter than it looks once sprayed so I normally get a darker color. I do know that the pump sprayer has to be pumped to its max so it has enough pressure to spray it even. Also I clean the tip really well before using it
do you know if there is water based or solvent based? ive bought 3 or 4 different types of the water seal and still couldnt get it to spray right@@charliefarms1
I’m not sure honestly. To me it sounds the the sprayer your using isn’t working. Is it the garden style sprayer? Like a 2 or 3 gallon? Maybe the tip is clogged? That’s odd it’s not spraying right
yeah ive tried 3 now. even the one from menards that says it is supposed to be used with thompsons water seal. maybe not pumping it up enough@@charliefarms1

How with a thorough cleaning and a fresh coat of paint can make it look brand new. However, painting over rust is not my preference.
Love the content man, I hope to get into this on the side someday
Thanks!
Don’t say someday… or else that day will never come. Just get after it
