Large mount husky fits perfectly on the 590 as far as chain tensioner stud the only thing you need is I used 3/8 copper tube and cut little pieces off and you got to tap them on the bar studs and there won't be hardly any Rock in the bar up and down

Steel brake line tubing works good for spacers too....

Every bar I buy is d025 Stihl large mount and I just use adapters to fit accordingly. Eventually as bars wear out and I replace them I'd like to get as many bars as I can to fit the same pitch and gauge so I can spin all my chains off 2-3 rolls

    Stihl 12mm
    Huskey 9mm
    Echo 8mm
D176 cs590/600/620 they make adapters cheap for Stihl mount that’s what I run.

The roller tip could be a cool idea. No need to worry about the pitch, maybe not even the gauge of the chain.

I think you did a video of putting a large mount on a 55 husky the same way you did that should work on the 590

Interesting how different people overcome the same issue. I spent the ten Canadian paseo’s for the stihl /husky mount but that’s out of character for me. This is way more my style✌️

UPS brought me the bar n chain today. Unfortunately I ordered a 20" setup (my old Echo). My newer Echo is an 18". I'm wondering if the 20" stuff will run ok on the 18" saw. I'm only cutting a few 10" trees.

I don't own a stihl, but aren't the drive link profiles different on echo vs Stihl chain?

Can you suggest the closest 20" bar to fit an EGO CS1800? I KNOW the powerhead is plenty strong enough to pull it.
The biggest obstacle I can envision is oil delivery.

DO 33 for Sachs Dolmar is 14mm wide. Do 25 will fit if mounting slot is milled 1mm wider.(.040) nominal.DO33 no longer available in 24"...

I have a large mount husqvarna bar that fits my 4000 poulan. For some reason they put the same bar from the factory on the 4000 that they used on the bigger 4200 and up saws which I think may be a d76 or d276. I can't remember. My saw has the s shaped spacer so the husky large bar and the original windsor fits nice. Another great vid interesting bar 👍

@@novicelumberjack bowdy I just ordered a 288xp and a 36” holzforma pro bar with 3 chains. I tried to use farmertech but they emailed me after I ordered that they ran out! They then wanted to add 38$ for it to be airmailed from China! So I got a kit from Tristar your advertiser. They are local GA and I should have used them to start with. Farmertech was emailing me in the middle of the night. U had advised me to buy a ms400 but I wanted to spend less $ and I wanna port and build a monster. I found out the ms400 has a magnesium piston not for weight but warranty as it’s soft and won’t score the cylinder they can pop in a piston as it’s the sacrifice! Kinda cool!! I’d like to own one. But I’ll have to start selling ported saws to afford one. Thanks for your videos

I can see people doing that in a pinch other than that buy the right bar for your saw. What are you going too save 10 to 15 dollars and your putting it on a motor that turns 11 thousand plus revaluation per minutes i dont think so.
