Hey I’ve been going up there for years and have heard many stories about that mine and I believe that it is on the mountain behind you when you were talking about it. There should also be a bear trap up there but I don’t know if it’s still there because of the fire.
👏👏 I absolutely love this adventure ❤ one of these days, we will see another skin walker. Really good job hunny. Shout out to "Connie" too! Thank you ❤
The road has been improved since I was there last. Need to get back up there. The sandy beach is crazy to see in the Uintas. I thought Rhoads was up Yellowstone Canyon........ no wonder I never found it LOL. Nah it was a 3 hour tour......LOL. Great adventure and video.
The road is nice now. I remember pot holes with bunny rabbits in them. I never found the mines either. There were several. The one I was talking about at the lake. It was marked on a Forest Service map I had at the time. Keep looking there still lost. That's what my wife said too. Oops. Guess it's been a while since I hung out with Gilligan and the crew. Oh well. I make up stories all the time. Thanks for watching.
I could almost smell the pines you are in my favorite places I would love to camp on that sandy beach and look at the stars.i never get tired of the uintas the music you guys used on this video is perfectly beautiful I love the life you 2 are living 'nice to see Channy in this video love you guys thanks for the great trip to my favorite place❤❤❤
Wish I could be in the pines every day. The Uintahs is one of the best places to get some pines in your sniffer. I love it when I can get the wife out there. Thanks for watching 👀
Hi Chantel & Curtis 👋👋...that area has got some history 👍 and a charming beach, for somewhere so high 🤔. Shame there's been floods and wildfires, but it's still a beautiful place ❤ I saw some 'runes' made out of tree branches on your walk Curtis... constructions often associated with Bigfoot, so maybe that groan was him thinking 'oh no, not another tourist I've got to follow around' 👀😉 Yes, that does seem like the kind of place where if you hung around long enough, something spooky would happen... Loved the video, and the music you use really adds atmosphere, without overdoing it 👍
Hello H.B✋ We love Moon Lake.❤ One of the first places I took Chantel when we first met.⛺ So it has a little extra history for us. I think what you were looking at is in the river bed. So I think is was just flood damage maybe. But the groan was something.👀🌲 One full night up here. You will hear something. Or get a funny feeling. Like something is watching. So glad you like my music. I don't have many options yet. Thank you for all your support.👍😃🏔

I love my green gazelle tent also. In fact I used it 2 years ago at Moon Lake also while attending the Moon Lake Gathering. The hard part is getting it back in the bag! 😆
@markwhitton8230 Nice. I still need to go to the Moon Lake Gathering. It sounds like fun. I think it's normal not to be able to get a tent back in the bag. I've definitely had worse 🙃. Thanks for watching.
@@launareese9196 Same. I've been there a few times. Haven't seen anything yet. But the stories sure make the nights a little more exciting. Thanks for watching 👀.
@Number4lead Thanks. There are many different mines out there. I know of one right next to Whiterocks. And I've also heard the whole mountain side was covered in gold at one time. So many places to search.
We need sonar images and video of the bottom of the original part of the lake. It’s almost disturbing to think the lake is bottomless or that there’s monsters or a large animal in the lake while we never see recorded sonar imaging to confirm our curiosity!
@Memo-areoleo I've only heard stories of people with fish finders talking about the depth of the lake. But I don't think a fish finder is giving us a definite picture of the bottom. So yes, a real sonar map of the bottom would be amazing. Thanks for watching. 👍
Yeah we camped there a few times to make sure it wasn’t a one time thing and didn’t know about the haunted thing, we just found it creepy on its own, very uncomfortable. We took a boat out and felt like we were being watched, sorry it’s very creepy!
I've spent many nights there. Bought land nearby so I could be there more often. The only thing I'm ever concerned about are the bears. To me it's a sacred place.
@jessicagibson5881 I haven't been going there that long. But the same thing I haven't seen anything weird. I think I know about the mine you're talking about. And yes, it's flooded. But that is only one of many mines in that area. Many more, but most of them are buried with water or rock slides. Thanks for watching 👀.
My buddy lived in a trailer by moon lake and he would swear to me it was the moat haunted place he had ever been and we were on the phone one night and all his pantry doors started opening and slamming and he packed up and moved back to his moms house
Also it's worth to point out that Colorado was considered apart of Utah until 1861 then Utah got split into Colorado and Utah if you plan on looking for more Spanish stuff/gold
@darklotus6595 Of course. The Spanish plundered more than just the Utah area. They searched this whole place. And I bet they found a lot. Thanks, though it's all good info. Thanks for watching 👀.
@Kingspeakbackcountry That area has so much history. I love exploring this part of Utah. 👍And it sounds like you do too. I think I am heading over there next month.
@robertjensen4525 You must be looking for some mines? I wish there was an easy way to do that for you. I didn't see anything on the footage, but I know that there is one at the bottom of the cliffs by the dam. Most of the mines were covered and well hidden. Including that one.

A guy from the RUclips channel, “A thing of beauty “, had a Bigfoot sighting in that area.
@@davden965 Thank you. I believe it. Moon Lake is right next to the most inaccessible mountains in the state. Good place for Bigfoot to hide.
How do you get there? I’m from Utah!
@@aprilkaminsky5635 It's just north of Duchesne about 30 miles. Awesome place. 👌
I've been camping there for over 40 years and there's nothing haunted about it. Also I know where the mine is, it's flooded so you can't gain entry.

I can believe it. There are some bizarre stories that come out of the Basin. I even lived there for a while. And seen some strange things myself.
Theres weirdness there at certain times.
