Equipped with a 603 hp (450kW) Volvo D16 Tier 4 Final engine that delivers high torque at low rpm, this machine is designed for fast and efficient on-site production. Pairing the EC950F with the Volvo A60H articulated hauler is where customers can realize extreme productivity potential. The EC950F fills the 60-ton, 33.6 m³ (43.9 yd³) haul truck in just four bucket passes, with an average cycle time of 20-25 seconds.

Looks like a monster on a pile of marbles. Amazingly smooth and agile for something that big. Imagine what it would take to get that unstuck.

I just rented a mini this weekend. Even with a tiny 24" bucket the 2 yard dump cart we have couldn't keep up. I cannot image how many haul trucks it would take to keep up.

I used to live right outside Shippensburg. I took my kids to the city playground most weekends when they were tots. Wish they had this place back then...I'd visit regular. Toys adults play with are bigger than the one's for kids.

Chris, Should had been a clearing job next door! 76,000 lbs dig out force, I don't think 36" tree would stand much of a chance, but transport cost would be a bit much moving 209,000 lbs.. but damn! That is fun to watch even on video...

Now put the pile of cash you'd need to buy the 950 vs. the 250. It would be pretty impressive too.

I sat and watch the big electric one all afternoon several years ago. I was up on the highs wall. D9 and d10 dragging the the power cable behind it. They looked like toys down in the hole. 2 euclids could back in the bucket. Stripping coal. It walked on Its tracks.
The boom was tubular and pressureized wiith air . when the pressure dropped it was cracked. They would climb up with microphones.
Find the crack. Weld it up and carry on.
What a trip to get in that Volvo. I really enjoyed this one.

Would be interesting to see some of the controls and instrumentation inside the cabin. It would also be nice to know what kind of options used for level and slope control. Bring in the technical specs!
