He went to war but never even saw combat. He was never in any danger, he never had to shoot his gun he also didn't receive a combat patch for service because he never saw any. So what ptsd does he suffer from.
It's ostensibly from his humanitarian deployment to Haiti, in which he was reportedly involving in handling the remains of earthquake victims Whether or not that's true, it's all but certain he had severe mental health issues: - He was in and out of psychiatric hospitals for two years prior to the murder. I work in one; it takes a lot to get admitted as an inpatient, let alone over that sort of period - He was most definitely suffering from pretty intense paranoid schizophrenia and ongoing delusions that had manifested - PTSD does not necessitate being involved in combat; the medical consensus demonstrates that it is just as likely to be triggered by different types of trauma (i.e., abuse, natural disasters, rape, traffic accidents) - The issue isn't his alleged PTSD, but rather that the PTSD contributed to his psychosis. Yes, it's likely he was a pretty decent guy until his issues started Rather, the key problem in this tragic affair isn't that Eddie Ray Routh was a psychopath or whatever, but that Americans have severe deficiencies in their mental health systems. Someone like him should have been admitted sooner, given better and lengthier treatment (his three week stay in the VA psych ward where he received his diagnosis is nowhere near long enough to treat schizophrenia), and put under a mandatory treatment order

@@bobhall6404 Chris Kyle has been exposed for lying about fairly serious claims, like his 'knockout' of Jesse Ventura.
