What a fantastic day shared with some amazing people!
A day I will never forget, thank you so much to the guys from Progess.
OMG it's that guy with the really good shaped head from the video! Will you sign my forehead!?
@@PapaJenkoooooo can't beat a bald head and a beard
Thanks for having us mate! Quality day
@StePark1 upside-down head. A true classic.
@PapaJenkoooooo it's confusing mate. Put my shades on upside down and all sorts.
All I can say... great video but the raf girls squats were insane quality. Low bar back squats to full depth. They were great squats. The bjj lady score should be halved for half reps. In the rolling ... think I learned a couple cool reversals from the video haha class
Nat is a legit lifter!
I wouldnt agree, girl on the right was bouncing out at the bottom and her stance was too wide. She was also going below parallel which takes pressure off the quads and onto the glutes.
@harryhill8543 it's called a low bar back squat mate and it's also called maximising on the stretch reflex. It's pretty much a perfect squat
@@Boot_Ma9net 🤣 "mate" its called a terrible squat and no you arent trying to stretch anything during a squat. Bouncing during any range of motion on an exercise is bad form. Shows the muscle is no longer engaged. Its a fantastic way to wreck your lumbar. The JJ girl did the better squat which is parallel to the floor with zero bounce.
@@Boot_Ma9net Also its closer to a sumo squat given the leg and foot placements.
Nobody slams fifi and gets away with it
Looked IBJJF legal haha
I think she added a wristlock onto that arm bar, super spicy lol
lol baby slam
Very unimpressive arm bar attempt from one black belt to another.
Using downward momentum to get an arm loose isn't a slam tho
Richy B is a menace on and off the mats great coach/ Mentor, great friend, great person, little questionable with the amount of face paint used though 😂😂😂
Only proper squat was done by Nat. She probably trains powerlifting. Good old deep low bar sq. Other ones were too bad
Accurate assumption
Nat did both Power Lifting and Weight Lifting for the RAF at an elite level. She's a beast! 💪
Tay was doing so well to the crawling thing I’m dying 😂😂 the help me for his shoes too !!😂🤦🏻♀️
hahaha ''help me''
RAF squatting was deeper while the progress team squatted at 90 degrees. The edge should go to RAF
we need to get a better ref next time
@progressjiujitsu the last guy from progress team didn't even squat. That was a quarter squat. RAF was being nice to u guys
All these videos are really well done, subbed and channel deserves way more subs
Fun video! The raf tests were less technical though so made a difference. But awesome stuff! ❤
07:16 What are these Squats that I'm seeing from Progress...
LOVING this type of content. Very motivating :D
Loads more on the way!
next time add a paintball round. respect that 2 of the military peeps are blue belts. didn't expect that. but makes sense, well done.
Well done, you managed to get the few members of the RAF that aren't morbidly obese together at the same time
I was on the edge of my seat for the ro sham bo! Well done.
I think Ffion won the camo Challenge... rrrobbbbbeedd 😂
yeah! not sure about the judging
I can attest to the judging a bit. Camo works by taking away the light so you put it on to distort facial features like the eyes and nose. Ffion put it on like make up which only helps accentuate the recognizable features. Did 8 yrs in USAF and 2 yrs in ROKAF after to earn my dual citizenship.
That bald guy is a proper stud! Wish I was as cool as him!
Yeah, very very handsome man
The RAF dude that was running challenge 3 is one of the gnarliest purple belts you’ll ever roll with. Dan 🫡
This isnt fair, theyre airforce put them in a black hawk, or a10 warthog and see who wins then.
Would like to see that 😂😂
Sports people always try to imitate the military, but they don't ever experience the same fear or proximity to death. What you're calling "Pro BJJ" is just a fashion show.
Broad statement
A few cheat reps in the squat challenge 👀
Top video, great content and the start of an awesome relationship!
THATS ONE KICKASS INTRO! SUBBED
Taylor is the GOAT
Fun Fact Brazilian Army train jiu jitsu since 40s.
Seems pretty strange and unfair to do a BJJ event when one side are BJJ athletes, but not do the same for other side and have a running and shooting with rifles event
If we can settle all conflicts with rock, scissor and paper, we won't have any wars.
Progress dominated in BJJ . So idk how that was a draw. Did they mean overall?
it was 2-2 overall and we had to do the final challenge to settle it
7:41 😊
Well maybe they were supposed to roll In air instead, they ARE airforce not groundforce.
Today today, SMESH brother
Quality content
cheers mate! more on the way
What a day!
Thanks for showing up!
Cmon brev
Explain the point of the bow and arrow in the modern day military?
Funny thing is I was gonna talk about the Bow and Arrow Choke at 15:02 until I realized you were speaking of the archery challenge. lol
Bjj crew totally cheated in the squat challenge. Barely went knee depth
fair comment haha
That’s my boy 🥰❤️
Isn't there a MMA/grappling tournament competitor who's a RAF regiment officer? I saw him competing at ACE in Bristol before covid.
It's amazing the girl did more squat reps than any of the guys. What does that tell you
I mean, the females had less weight and the one with the most reps wasn't actually doing a full rep unlike her opponent. So it doesn't tell you much of substance.
back in a day ufc fighters came on navy force in usa. great show was then. give it a try.
Jujitsu does make you mentally strong
Having both your guys and the RAF in Progress tees is very confusing, it’s plenty branding to put them on your people. Those of us who don’t have perfect memory need a little more visual separation between the teams than a 2 second title at the start of the round. And it helps to put the teams on the title in the order they appear on the screen - team on the left in the title should be the team on the left in the video. I couldn’t tell who was up and who was down until they announced it at the end.
Are the RAF individuals even BJJ practitioners?
Taylor with the hard carry
Richy B performed well in the race
Need to get you on the next one
They need to control the dept of those squats. No standard.
are those raf special units? they are pretty good, physically tough to compete full time professionals.
Yeah very Special, they are they are the ones that walk about a bit more and do a 5 mile of death. Then deploy inside a Army base and Guard a Airfield that's already protected by the Army. I hear they rub mud over the Body Armour and shoot their own Ballistic Plates and tell people they was shot at.
RAF special units? The nearest thing they even have to regular basic infantry soldiers is the RAF Regiment and there is nothing impressive about them other than their ability to eat pies...
The extra F is for Fierce
Rock paper Scissors championship ❤😊
3rd dude squatting was doing half squats. Shoulda been called on it.
I love it when the put men on men and women on women for sport, even in Military it would seem they understand not to over push the women.
Number 3 wears an Whitebelt. The first Thing He did after Start was trying to get an Body Triangle 🤣 something Not correct here
If these were real combat scenarios, all 3 RAF combatants would be dead if their friends from the other branches don't arrive in time with a gun. Progress should give the 3 RAF people pointers on grappling.
a bit odd to dress the RAF guys on shirts that say 'Progress'.
Also did Ffion squat less weight? lol
Try Para depot next ❤time
That bald guy at 6:48 just proving that the reg cant count to 100 😂
they could have got them to do the 5 miler of death.
will their breast hurt from the bow and arrow? since they dont have breast protector
You chose the RAF 😂
It’s the RAF, the girl guides could beat them.
Got to admit squats are not everybody's strong point
haha yeah!
When go to ucrane, to help?
Fuck all compared to 5 mile of death
If im not mistaken the air force isnt known fir its hand on hand combat...
The RAF security element the "reg" is.
@@evanburgess8428 2 squadron raf regiment are fully qualified para troopers. One of their officers is regular on the MMA/Grappling circuit, trains in oxford I think but can't for the life of me remember his name.
@@evanburgess8428 oh really? That's cool to know. I'm not military in any ways myself so I have no idea.
Ffion's 73 half reps!
OK, the military guys were to a disadvantage. They did not have anything that would cover taking somebody out, period, no rules. Navy seals could have lost that too. But not in a fight fight.
Ffion: "We're gonna get cancelled 😮" 😂😂😂
You could have at least gone against someone in the military.
Squat count for all but the Raf girl... zero, zero, zero, zero, zero, zero....
Progress did zero squats...lol
they paid the refs haha
❤
❤️
Try that on SAS
the Bjj would go about the same unless they SAS guys are into Grappling.
@@willems7454 idk, but SAS has a hand to hand combat training, which from what I know is made to counter almost anything. Still, if the bjj guy isn’t someone like khabib, I think that the SAA guy could win
@@user-ov3eb8cx1f military Hand to hand combat is usually focused on knife fighting and such, with the emphasis being on ending the situation quickly as getting into a brawl with someone is really something to avoid in a combat scenario, considering his buddy might turn around the corner at any moment and just shoot you and it usually also assumes that you’re mostly going to face untrained opponents, where the basics tend to work best. Now even if they were training straight grappling as well (most SF do to some capacity) they’d probably still lose out considering the fact that these are pro Bjj athletes so they spend all day training just bjj whereas the SAS obviously has to train for all sorts of stuff, so even if they train bjj too they’re devoting much less time to it than the progress guys
doesn't appear to be Jujistu , appears to be Brazillian Jujitsu
ofc they have no chance
9:15 with all the brown on he looks like most girls in town on a Friday night with all the fake tan they could find .... :D
You went against the fly boys. The easiest category ffs
Squat challenge wasnt even fair for the females. Major weight difference....
What a load of bollocks.
You don't fight on a mat. You fight in a very confined space.
It happens as fast as you can clap your hands if you are lucky.
When someone starts biting your fingers off or sticking their fingers in your eyes or biting lumps off you thats combat.
This is a game.
Some serious poor reps from Taylor in the squats🤣
Better than whatever the fuck I was doing 😂
Don't be too harsh on yourself! haha
I think I was way to east on him, considering I had a fair few chalked off 😂
Worst thing ever camo cream, used to out in spots.
😂😂 quality
amazing day!
Taylor quarter repping the whole time in the squat challenge.
Gi is an unfair advantage for you guys especially since you’re all black belts
progress with some incredibly bad squats 0_o

omg that's so stoopeed to let the army guys wrestle by bjj rules :D let them use their military hand combat skills, and see how quickly those bjj kids get destroyed lol
Try training with marines lol
lets do it!!
Am i the only person who is getting sick of arm bars? I cant think of a more boring way to beat an opponent than the same tactic over and over just to get a tap out.
Then you probably weren't a big fan of Rhonda Rousey I take it? 😊
@@christopherwalker6056 I haven't watched her fight much. If that's like her signature move or something then yeah, that's pretty boring. It's like choking somebody out. It's not always easy to do, and it is effective, but it's pretty boring and anti climactic. I prefer fights without submission moves.
@@user-qs1my4zi2b yeah I get it. She was undefeated until she fought Holy Holmes. You should check out a little of Rhonda's highlight real and them watch her fight against Holy. She gets knocked out. It was so satisfying to watch.
Dislike because clickbait man vs woman.
So the RAF, which does not train in jujitsu, is suppose to compete? This is stupid. Any fool can crawl. BS competition
Lmao. Those “squats” by the BJJ crew were pathetic. Maybe quarter squats
BJJ is incredible, until you get punched, kicked, or knee'd in the face. No one fights like this in combat. NO ONE!
MMA is better because it's best of striking and grappling
Bbbbbbb
This is a stupid as it gets trained seals will tear apart and waste jujitsu pros in real life but if you think it’s gonna happen on this film, you’re wrong jujitsu is one thing killing someone is another it’s all in what you train for and they’re not gonna let The seals kill all the jujitsu people it’s not good camera film footage and it just wouldn’t be that nice but that’s what train seals do they kill people whether they know jujitsu or not I see stuff like this and I just laugh
lol progress should never have won the squats.😂 more like 0 to whatever how much Nat and the last guy did.
Why the F…would you train military in BJJ? the worst situation in real world combat is to be on the ground..Is the enemy combatant going to all of sudden abide by “rules” ?😂😂😂
Way overthinking the video format here. Insaw pro jiujitsu vs military thumbnail and you spend most of the video on other stuff. All I want to see is that lady twist a bunch of military dudes into pretzels, not watch them do miliary stuff. Open rolling would be better than this escape thing. Just let the pros demonstrate their mastery, that is interesting.
It's more interesting to see pros do something outside their comfort zone.
@@trinidadraj152 Not my thing, but I am glad you liked it :)
Tbh loads of pure rolling would also make a really cool video so we'll try and do that in the future
@@progressjiujitsu Nice, sorry for bitchin :)
the whole point of this was to show how limited the focuss in jiu jitsu really is, if you want to see jiu jitsu only, go watch that Mikey Musumeci clown instead it's all he ever does
Sorry but jiujitsu cant even handle the judo training…
Judo are a variation of Japanese Jiu Jitsu.
