Do we need to change air filter and fuel pack as well for installing Vance and hince exhaust .?? Please do let me know .. thanks

prateek palle For aftermarket slip-on exhausts like the Vance & Hines and Bassini, you don't require an aftermarket air filter or fuel tuning. But if you're changing the air filter along with exhaust system, fuel tuning is necessary

Saravana Kumar thanks for the reply..but Harley guys insisting of changing airfilter and Fuelpak..it is costig around 1 lakh.. im confused..im very much interested in V&H. please let me know

Buy V&H exhaust from eBay.com and it will just cost you around $450 including shipping and fit it with the help of any motorcycle repair shop.
No need of Fuelpak or anything

It has been said that if you install the Vance and Hines comp slip on you don't need to change the fuel tuning? I have to disagree because these bikes like all fuel injected bikes are tuned to run lean from the factory. So I say if you want to change your exhaust go ahead and get the V&H fuelpak,or something similar because you don't want the motor running leaner than what it does already. Running too lean and motor damage may occur.

not sure how this works but as far as I know the whole fuel tuning/regulation thing only comes into play when you change the whole exaust system, if you only change the terminal it shouldn't be an issue. As I said I'm not enterely sure 'tho.
