    Health is 100% concern - agree. But keeping people 100% is the challenge. Every athlete is different.

    Hi Coach, I'm a big fan of yours and have studied all of your programs and would love to get: 1. Training on the sprint arm swing. 2. Specific details and times for the Competition Warm Up.

      @@Hamburger-HB We just do the Atomic Speed Workout 30 min before the race.
      Arms elongate on down stroke, cross the hips 12” behind the glutes, shoulder is stretched maximally, stretch reflex snaps the arm forward.

      @@coachtonyhollerSo 30min before the race they warmup, if then they have to wait even more in call room what should they do? Like a few skips while waiting or just do nothing?

    This makes so much sense. Guys who are regularly performing at 95+% of their potential are a different animal than those who have barely touched their potential. Hm, the CNS is an interesting animal.

    Hi Coach, for club athletes who have been training/competing since the fall, would you recommend a 2-3 week break at the end of indoor season? The last thing I’d want is for them to be burnt out by outdoors, just wondering if this is the recommended way?

    • @coachtonyholler
      @coachtonyholler  2 дня назад

      @@nlands6279 Yes. One week off. Then take natural breaks (holidays, spring break, etc.)

    Coach love your videos. I was just wondering since Feed the Cats is a speed first program, how do you peak or taper for the season since it’s all speed work? And how do u progressive overload once the kids hit a plateau?

    • @coachtonyholler
      @coachtonyholler  6 дней назад +1

      @@justinlee3817 No periodization with FTC. The entire season is a taper… we want to peak at every competition. We perform in practice.
      We will be at our best at the end of the year because we’ve built performance-level capacity and stayed consistent AND healthy.

    Hey coach, what do you think of Noah Lyle's conditioning program ( as a fastest man in the world)? He recently even posted a video on his RUclips channel about off-season conditioning, and there are many stuffs as slow long runs with big volume...happy to hear your opinion 🫡
