I work in homecare for the elderly and have clients who will remove all pictures, crystal, knickknacks from side tables and dressers, put them on the couch or bed before I get there so that I can actually spend my time cleaning, what Im there for. my sister gets physically ill from other people's perfume. it is perfectly reasonable to ask people not to wear it. waitresses who work in fancy restaurants aren't allowed to wear purfume because it can affect the taste of the food.
there was a woman at work and I mean wherever she went it (her 'fumes) blanketed the area - it was heavy like opium or shalimar and pervasive and so
hideous but NO ONE would say anything due to political correctness, if you know what I mean. hugely nasty smell..........and at church we had a guy who wore some kind of cologne and he wanted to always hug you and you smelled like him the rest of the day......seriously, bad.
I used to wear Axe body sprays, colognes on occasion. Some after shaves, scents wear off quickly so I don't waste the $. As for perfumes, body sprays some do over do it but many 👃 are way over rated.

Maid/Cleaner doesnt mean slave. You cant expect someone to clean a whole house in a day when its all trashed. Are you paying someone to actually clean or waste their time picking up after you? I work in homecare for the elderly and have clients who will remove all pictures, crystal, knickknacks from side tables and dressers, put them on the couch or bed before I get there so that I can actually spend my time cleaning, what Im there for.
