    If we increase SCH , this will increase wall thickness so in that case internal id will be reduced but it will not increase outer diameter for same size(say 2”) of pipe with different sch 40&80

      U r right...for increasing or decreasing sch. Pipee ID will be decreasing and increasing respectively. ..you tuber need to correct himself

    Bro, needs to correct your video at 8:45 . In the case of pipe OD is always constant.
    Example:
    Pipe size: 1" it means OD is 33.4mm
    Pipe size is 2", it means OD of pipe is 60.3mm.
    If we change our schedule the ID of the pipe will change.

    Sir, if we increase od of tube and decrease the Id, that time how heat will transfer.
    For Heat transfer both I'd and od required right.
    Please clarify my doubt

    it's not necessary that tube always transfer heat, wrong concept. Copper tube use in plant to carry air not for heat transfer

    Sir in your discussion ,you have told that pipe is not generally used for heat transfer but in case of double pipe exchanger is used heat transfer phenomenon. So please help me !

    Hello sir ji pipe ka Outer diameter hamesa same hota hai(example 2" Ka pipe ,agar alag alag Sedule ka ho to sirf internal diameter change hota hai OD fix rahata hai)

    8:40 I think you are wrong. For the same NPS OD remains the same with schedule, and it is the ID that changes.

    Bro you messed up with number 2... Pipe ka sch brhne se uska id km ho ya zayada ho ga.. Agr sch change hone se OD change ho ga to baqi fittings kese design kro ge? Like flanges? Pipe is nominated by nominal dia not OdD nor ID

      For the same pipe size (NPS), pipe ID varies with pipe schedule.
