That wasn't the question. She wanted them to tell something about the others that they had told the fans but that they knew was a lie (at least that's how I understood the question). They had a hard time to find something to tell so they asked for a direction regarding a topic. I don't know if the fan really was surprised and couldn't think of something else or if she just didn't care that it's inappropriate but she went for THAT topic. And as could be expected they dodged the question with a joke.
