This has happened to me so many times, either I'm looking at minimap, listening to my teammates voice comms, or trying to tell them to be quiet.

I have lost one too many gunfights because I was trying to communicate enemy positions to my team and got swung. I needed this video haha.
This is a huge problem with my gameplay. I've looked back to my games and 3 out of 8 times on average that I have died is due to comming while looking for a duel(as the title suggests). I really need to work on this issue as most of the time this has happened is when I am lurking and as soon as I am about to comm I get peeked and die, and I can't really do anything either because it's really had to try to fight and comm at the same time. I hope to work on this soon but IDK how I will be able to. If you any tips then please let me know, it helps me out a ton.
I used to do this. My solution actually came by accident. I briefly had to move back in with my parents after I finished college, and due to that I couldn’t make a lot of noise as they both work from home and go to sleep early, so I actually stopped comming for about 6 months. It wasn’t good, and I didn’t rank up at all, but it helped me understand when I wish I could’ve commed and when I didn’t feel like it would’ve helped anything. After I left my parents place and was able to talk normally again, my comms were noticeably much better timed and I understood how to effectively take duels without being distracted. It’s super unorthodox, and hooj would probably disagree with it, but it worked for me, so idk
I think about half of my deaths are due to this LOL. I'll try to work it out of my gameplay

Yeah this is me, but I comm a ton and i think it takes away from my fight because I except my teammates to help, when I'm raze and should do it myself. Granted, if less people are talking I'll feel pressured to do this less, but If i get a full comms team I'll be yappin.
Can you tell me the difference between not communicating between duels and comming like how you said to practice callouts in dms?

Okay this made me realize I comm too much, since some of my duels are lost because I comm their location before even firing my gun or comming when I'm out in the open.

I'd say all roles. I main duelist, but there have been plenty of times I've played other roles and got killed comming. While in a middle of a gunfight or in danger of one.
all roles. DM if you're a sage or a reyna. slower reaction times is always worse than faster reaction time
this is for everyone, if you're taking a fight you should be focused on winning the fight.

to be fair, i've only killed gekko flash once in my entire life. It's worse than shooting a reyna leer or iso orb even though its 500X bigger

I know exactly why this guy coms so much. He saw your video on the DM comming drill, said "bet," and over did it.
You said before to practice comming during duels in a DM because you need to develop the skill of being able to comm while fighting. Not trying to be rude, just asking a genuine question of which is better to do.
I dont comment often but im gonna add to this video, this is the type of person i mute. I understand info is important but you can't be distracting me with so many unnecessary comms when im trying to concentrate. So is he not only comming too much, remember people can have you muted and those comms can mean nothing in this scenario
