The only one i dont trust is the gerber, ive owed several and they were garbage, especially for the price tag, now cold steel i will bet my life on, i have personal experience with cold steel and even their budget knives are crazy, i currently own the mini tac tanto, and the recon tanto fixed blade in SK-5, and ive chopped down black oak saplings with it, blade dulled to a butter knife after the 3rd sapling but that was the only damage it took, my current "crown of my collection" is my newly acquired heretic knives seraphim, 154CM steel, havent put it through any tests other then a couple sharpness tests, but by the gods ive never owned a knife as sharp as this beast
