    I can confirm this is good advice from experience. I'm a member of a choir and I sing the lowest parts in that choir although I have heavily trained my upper range for my more personal singing. During the warmups I used to focus on the upper range and have a bit of fun, but I was finding that it wasn't really helping with my singing in the choir. I took the warmups down an octave (we all do the same warmup but we choose the octave we sing in) and I found that really helped!

    loving it! thank you for explaining how to practice for a specific song. Ive been struggling on how to apply the skills im learning during training sessions to new songs outside my normal style. This helps!

    This is very good. I struggle so much with tone. I'm not sure that I'm knowledgeable enough to know which vowels to pick, however.

      Try some different ones - they all have their own characters 😃
