    In this episode, Tesla owner shares their experiences in crashes, near misses, hit & runs, and other Tesla Sentry Mode events in Episode 200 of Teslacam Stories, the ultimate Tesla show.
    Teslacam Stories is a series of Tesla owners' real experiences told by the Tesla Dashcam and Sentry Mode videos. All incidents are recorded from Tesla vehicles and submitted to this channel by other Tesla enthusiasts. I contact each person who sends me their videos to talk with them and learn more about their story and to follow up on what happened after what we see on their video. Voice-over and captions are added to describe what happened, and why. I believe that this additional information regarding the incident gives the videos a newsworthy value.
    From the footage and additional information, a viewer can learn the consequences of bad driving and can educate his/her self with better driving safety. This process also gives the videos a great educational value. It is my desire to add my own unique and creative value in a transformative way to ensure you enjoy and learn from the videos being presented.

      I had a trailer tire blow out a few days ago, in nearly the same position. I didn't even notice. I saw a driver gesturing something a while later, and looked around. One tire seemed a little off, like it was low on air, so I pulled into a rest area... Sure enough, the inner tire was completely destroyed (along with the mudflap.)

      Plus if he actually does anything wrong in the future it's "Oh, that's the guy with multiple warnings already. Throw the book at him".

      It was still a warning because he used the wrong charging cable. See 4:01 and 4:23 and note that the charging cable for the spot next to him is used. They likely have a policy to go only off of the screen, since if two cars are plugged in, that is the only way they can know which one is charging, and tracing the cables can lead to dumb mistakes.

    Regarding clip 5 with the 2x4 plank, my dad had something similar but it was an entire wooden pallet that the other vehicle clipped, sending it spinning right into my dads front wheel creating a 3 inch long dent in the wheel. He managed to pull over to the hard shoulder then had to empty the boot (he was on his way back home from being on holiday and it was jam packed) to dig out his spare wheel (thankfully a fully size one and not one of the mutated wheelbarrow ones you get these days or worse an air pump & tin of emergency tire foam).

    • @Rob2
      @Rob2 11 месяцев назад

      Yeah, in such cases I love it that my spare tyre is under (outside of) the car. It is bad that it is always dirty but it is good that you can release it even when the boot is fully packed...

      Correct. Keeping a clean slate in terms of mistakes by not having a scrapped ticket 'on paper'.
      It should be fought though, since if in the future he were to do anything wrong, it would go 'Oh he's the guy with multiple warnings already, throw the book at him'.

    • @ShaddowDemon
      @ShaddowDemon 5 месяцев назад

    For the 2nd to last video (#2, sliding)... I understand only two wheels are locked when parked (afaik) but that is an impressive distance to slide especially since it went through grass. I doubt it but it feels like the wheels were rolling...

    • @northshepherd8010
      @northshepherd8010 Год назад

      I've lived in Minnesota and Colorado and I agree with you here. This feels off, like the car wasn't put into Park. Sliding tires don't tend to go in a straight line where the wheels are pointed.

    • @Whtwolf
      @Whtwolf 11 месяцев назад

      I even set the parking brake before I got out of the car. I promise all four tires were locked. It was just slightly warm tires to melt the snow, gravity, and icy conditions that caused the slide.

    01:28: In Germany, if everything went correctly, the Tesla driver would actually have been partly to blame in this accident.
    §1 Road Traffic Regulations (StVo): "(1) Participation in road traffic requires constant caution and mutual consideration. (2) Anyone participating in traffic must behave in such a way that no other person is harmed, endangered or hindered or inconvenienced more than is unavoidable under the circumstances."
    Even if the light turns green, you have to make sure that the intersection is clear. Of course, don't look excessively to the left and right and hold up traffic, but also don't simply accelerate full throttle when you see that someone else is coming.
    But it is also quite possible that the person who caused the accident was hiding in the blind spot behind the A-pillar. As a spectator, you often see more on the dashcam than the driver does in reality.
    Nevertheless, I often notice that in the Tesla videos, people in the U.S., even more than in Germany, just keep driving when they think they are in the right.

      Bin nur froh, dass wir so strenge Führerscheinregeln haben und die meisten die wichtigsten Verkehrsregeln auch kennen. Schau mal die Videos von Leben USA und was der zu den Fahrkünsten der Leute zu sagen hat.
      Aber das ist auch selbsterklärend, da muss man nur mal die Unfälle (Cobra 11-Folgen von Fahrnünftig) mit denen einer normalen(!) Wham-Bam-Folge vergleichen, um zu merken, dass die einfach (nach den Russen) die schlechtesten Autofahrer der Welt sind. 😀
