Thanks for sharing the done footage, it an amazes me how small the combines look in the fields, and as you say the big combines are still to come.

Nice footage of the countryside from the drone. You can't appreciate it from the road with high hedges sometimes blocking the view. I love the British Isles with its changing countryside. Could you imagine living in the Prairies vast and flat. We might be a small country but in my opinion there is so much to see. Thanks again, Carl.👍

Nice drone footage! Harvesting finished here about 2 weeks ago - I’m in East Anglia. I guess they plant early and due to the hot weather here finish earlier.

      Hi and thank you 😁
It will just be starting now up north around Aberdeen, is a month or two differance in harvest time between the south coast and North coast 😁

I used to drive a combine but it was back in the 70's and it was a filthy job - not like the limos they use now!

I have not seen any combining at all so far this year. Sometime between last Tuesday and today they have managed to combine, plough and harrow 3 fields near me though (might even be sown as well !).
Looks like long autumnal walks through the stubble fields with the dog are a thing of the past
    (not least because I don't have a dog😭).

The harvest is so quick now and they much through the fields quickly!, it is a-shame the fields are not left in stubble for weeks like years ago
