For 15 yrs I’ve met two great friends - Mike & Denise - at 7 am on St Patty’s Day for eggs and kegs in The Flats in Cleveland. They kept this tradition going even after my husband died suddenly, giving me a sense of normalcy. I’m 50% Irish!

I use to decorate for all the holidays when my boys were younger, as they got older and life got crazy busy I just decorated for fall & Christmas! But I am slowly getting back to decorating for all the holidays.
We have always worn green on st paddy’s day ever since I was a small child. Typically, a shirt with an Irish flag or a cute saying relative to Irish heritage.
As a child me and all the neighborhood kids would eat clovers from each other's yards, always looking for a 4 leaf clover, we enjoyed much time outside hoping to find that magical 4 leaf clover, lil Katie did one day,we all screamed excited for her, Her Dad framed it💚
St Patrick’s Day parade is a must then corned beef and cabbage.
My 7 year old Ioves to build and create with her hands. She is super funny and loves jokes!

Love going to Chicago's Old St Pat's Church St Pats party every year.

There are more sheep than people in Ireland. There is a gas station called Barack Obamo gas. (He visited and they loved him) The Waterford company is lovely to visit and in Dublin, go to Trinity College Library. It will be worth it. My chorus was invited to tour and sing in three different venues. It was fabulous. Ireland is so green, verdant!!

This year my 3 year old was so sad when we were putting down the Christmas tree, so we decided to keep it on, but on a more discreet part of the house 😂. We have been having so much dun decorating ir doe the different holidays. Needless to say, the St Patrick's Day tree was a hit at our house. My great grandfather came from County Cork Ireland! I love to collect Conemara marble jewelry. I am the orange Irish which is Protestant side. Claw day is how you pronounce the necklace. Look up the meaning, there are different ones and a good story. Irish soda Bread is a must for St. Paddy's day.
I normally decorate the house for St Patrick’s Day but Easter is so early this year…I will be doing green and gold makeup, shamrock earrings and green clothing for work though.

I love a good thick Irish accent. My brother passed away over a year ago, and he had a wonderful accent. st Patrick’s day was always a huuuuuge party, lots of decorating, lots of green, lots of Irish coffee, now it feels like the party is missing. He just had a huge personality, huge presence, u always knew he was there. He was the party.
