It's weird, like on the doll her torso looks to be the right size, but her arms are like twigs in comparison so it's like huh??? She's supposed to have a big torso AND big arms!
Love Yzma and Hades. Part design and part because they aren't the regular villains so great to see something original. Wish I could justify the expense on either. Not personally liking The Evil Queen who I actually mistook for Mother Gothel or the face sculpt for Maleficent. The costume for Madame Tremaine throws off the design too as I feel the overlarge panier style skirt with small waist makes her head seem out of proportion and doesn't fit the character.
Ursula looks BEAUTIFUL! :) Also, I like what they did with Hades and his masks. Super clever! Lady Tremaine is actually giving me Queen of Hearts vibes. Personally, I think that dress would actually fit the Queen of Hearts better.
Lady Tremaine''s designe it's EXTREMELY risquè!! for how she behave in the movie, the outfit since to reminicing to bondage or leather culture, wich can be a little problematic but, yeah. wow disney, you're getting bold!!
I'm pretty excited. Ursula is my favorite villain, so I'd like to get her, but I have my eyes on Yzma! I think she looks so cool, and I don't think I've ever seen an easema doll before. Hades looks pretty awesome as well.

@@heyayup she herself was not green, but her flames always were. Being that her dress here is supposed to be reminiscent of those flames, I feel green would have been more appropriate. Certainly to each their own though. :)
Hades looks great! I love the detailing on the cape, that was clever! The Evil Queen is pretty terrible, in my opinion. I had no idea that WAS her! The colors are all wrong for her - not sure why they chose a wine color for the dress? Yzma is good, but for the price there should be REAL feathers. Lady Tremaine's outfit is very odd? It doesn't fit the character at all.
I must say, most of the times the Disney Limited Edition dolls were really affordable and so beautifully detailed long ago. But later on, the prices got even higher, and the qualities got even lower. (Except for Cinderella Saks, Maquerade series except Rapunzel, Mulan (not live action), Pocahontas, and God Elsa. They were so beautiful like long ago) I mean, I don't know.....Like, Mulan Live action doll and Frozen 2 dolls were not even worth that price. Even Frozen dolls from long time ago was so beautiful and accurate, but when Olaf's Adventure doll was released, the prices got higher, and the dolls were so cheap. I wish they do at least one thing, 'Make dolls beautiful like long time ago, or make the price even lower if they can't give us good quality anymore) By the way, I'm so impressed with Lady Tremaine one! I'll maybe purchase it and unbox it, and add next to my Masquerade Cinderella doll.

Well you own Ariel.. So trying to go out of your way for an Ursula would be worth it to put together as a set/ team. It's nearly Christmas and you can wrap her up and wait to enjoy her on Christmas day. 🌟✨🌟✨🌟 You'd be able to sell her on eBay too as the value would be there. So its not 100% a waste of money.
I am kind of crushed by Yzma, she's such an art deco design in the movie and rather than give her a gorgeous art deco dress and feathers and everything, it just feels like a plastic, lifeless version of what she COULD be. Like she's literally Erte in a nutcase and this is what they give us for that much money??
Yzma is the best one. She looks great. Lady Tremaine looks good to I love how fierce she looks lol. Ursula looks cool too I love the little details on her like her Vanessa mask, the crown on her tentacle and the eel collar. Hades looks good again the details like his masks and the pool of souls on his cape are really nice. The Evil Queen and Maleficent are my least favorites. The Queen actually looks cool but she looks nothing like herself. She looks like a cross between Queen Narissa from "Enchanted" and Mother Gothel. And Maleficent just look cheap. I agree she looks like a young girl badly dressed up as Maleficent than the actual character. Its sad because these two characters had so much potential to look amazing with the masquerade theme.
Yzma is such an underrated Disney villainess. She's smart and ambitious, but also hilarious. She's also one of the more understandable villains, in that Kuzco IS A STINKIN' JERK at the beginning of their film (whereas most villains just hate the hero(ine) for no good reason). Of this lineup, she's the one I'm most likely to purchase.
I love the villains but I wished we got more princesses and non princesses in the masquerade set. I definitely would have been interested in a masquerade Kida or Alice

Makes you want to delete what you just saw, doesn't it ? What you don't know, won't tempt you . Less details people gonna complaints, really detailed people still complaining lol, i collect fashion dolls from barbie to BJD, and make doll clothes as well, so i dont have any complaint when a doll have slightly higher prices as long the quality and details in par with the prices since i knew how hard in making doll clothes, human clothes far easier to make than doll clothes, but i understand people have their own priorities so if someone seeing this dolls too expensive since its a collector items, and its not a must have item.

I was supremely disappointed in the dolls when I first saw them. But they have really grown on me. The only I wouldn’t want is Yzma. I just don’t care about her. But I’d love the rest! However I’m going for Maleficent and Hades.

Totally agree with you on all of this. And sure they’re pretty expensive but I think buying one of the serie is reasonable. So I’m thinking of buying Hades to go with my Megara limited edition ☺️
Erte/art deco era lines were so smooth and curved and long and elegant and that just looks so boxy and constricted. Makes me wanna make my own Yzma doll honestly lol

All the emperor's new groove cast should get new dolls; Disney might not see the appeal, but I'm sure they would sell (also, I think yzma's mask is supposed to be her as empress; it's got Kuzco's crown on it)
In the US they are about $140 tax included. I’m very underwhelmed with the villains. Some of their outfits are under designed, some look like past designer costumes/ hair, minimal embroidery, printed patterns, and some too much going on. A lot of them share the same color motif and material which doesn’t make them look uniquely individual. I like Yzma but that costume is basic. Hades looks cool but there’s a lot of ideas plastered on him. I might get them because I doubt we’ll see them in a standard line for a very long time.
My favorite ones are Izma and Hades but I'm not getting them. Like you said their boxes tend to be very large and take a lot of space and are bulkier than the 17" ones, imo. Also, I don't know if you remember, but Disney Store had a line called Film Collection that included Special Edition style 11" dolls but for their Live Action movies only, and they were at a lower price point and were crazy detailed. Sadly the line was canceled cause they did not sell very well. I wish they released a line like that for classic Disney princess and Villains. Thanks for the video 💕

I'd like to own a few $$$ Disney dolls or should I say $$$$$!!!😵 Holding out for the future though and eBay as first I'm trying to get my financial situation under control. I wouldn't mind having at least 1 doll of my most liked character's to cherish then sell when I'm uber old. As I have no family or kids to pass things to. But with this video I like Hades the best.. Again with the price id rather aim to buy like Belle or Ariel at a higher cost then snag these that are semi something I'd love. But getting my hands on Meg then having a Hades would be so stellar!! Omg!! 😍💖 That'll never happen.. Meg though maybe. Hades flame collar does suck. Your right about that.
There have a lot of excitement here. Because it mean in 1 years disney store will prabably release cheaper versions by using the same molds. EvilQueen and Malificent are just new version of the the first vilain designer doll collection what it's quite borring as the original. Ursula have a new face mold with a open mouth smile to show her teeth what its cool... i mean it's different of the last one. Hades and Yzma stay the 2 more interesting because they never or almost never had dolls representation and their mold look pretty good!
I am not into Disney dolls so much but Hades look amazing. Ursula also looks great but as for Maleficent...a big NO, you were right, it looks like someone else dressed like her. PS: I discovered your channel a few days ago and binge-watched it :)) Your doll collection is amazing!
I agree about the Maleficent head sculpt. It doesn’t look on model. The face is too round and youthful looking. In the film, she had an triangular face shape with a pointed chin and prominent bump in her nose. Her head here looks very soft and rounded.

Yzmas mask is her face because she’s very selfish and when Kuzco is gone she get her face done everywhere in the kingdom and palace. I think it’s very fitting.
7:04 Me too! I want a basic doll of Yzma to make her clothes, she's so stylist! And not only hands, if you look closely, you can see that she has a different body! (Look at the shoulder, looks different from the classic body type of Disney store dolls) Also I want basic dolls of the Evil queen, Lady Tremaine and Ursula with her two arms with articulations, almost like the last one that was maded but without sing. (And Vanessa, of course) Subjective opinion: My favorite dress design is the one that wears Lady Tremaine.
The best ones are Yzma and Hades, the worst is Maleficent, she just doesn't look like herself for some reason. On the other hand, I'm VERY sure Lady Tremaine wouldn't be showing any amount of leg, otherwise she looks pretty cool.
Yzma should have feathers in her headdress. Why do we even have that lever? Ursula’s Flotsam and Jetsam should be like a boa or one of those fox/stoat/ermine scarves with the head one 3nd and the tail at the other and to close it, you put the tail in the mouth. Evil Queen would look better with burgundy/deeper red ruffles with the black on her dress, and everyone needs actual embroidery on their cloaks etc, especially for that price!
Kinda sad that this series doesn't include the Shadow Man. I mean, it's a masquerade collection and he even wears a mask in the movie.

Ok Hades and Yzma I am so excited about!!! Like you said I REALLY hope we get basic versions of them, cuz I would snatch them up so fast!!
I'd like to own a few $$$ Disney dolls or should I say $$$$$!!!😵 Holding out for the future though and eBay as first I'm trying to get my financial situation under control. I wouldn't mind having at least 1 doll of my most liked character's to cherish then sell when I'm uber old. As I have no family or kids to pass things to. But with this video I like Hades the best.. Again with the price id rather aim to buy like Belle or Ariel at a higher cost then snag these that are semi something I'd love.

There have a lot of excitement here. Because it mean in 1 years disney store will prabably release cheaper versions by using the same molds. EvilQueen and Malificent are just new version of the the first vilain designer doll collection what it's quite borring as the original. Ursula have a new face mold with a open mouth smile to show her teeth what its cool... i mean it's different of the last one. Hades and Yzma stay the 2 more interesting because they never or almost never had dolls representation and their mold look pretty good!
I would love to get Yzma, I'm fan of Eartha Kitt. 😄
I am not into Disney dolls so much but Hades look amazing. Ursula also looks great but as for Maleficent...a big NO, you were right, it looks like someone else dressed like her. PS: I discovered your channel a few days ago and binge-watched it :)) Your doll collection is amazing!
i think this evil queen is more Enchanted version rather than the Snow White version
I agree about the Maleficent head sculpt. It doesn’t look on model. The face is too round and youthful looking. In the film, she had an triangular face shape with a pointed chin and prominent bump in her nose. Her head here looks very soft and rounded.

Omg those dolls are basically $180 AUD!!!! Plus shipping. I really want hades but these are far to expensive! Especially if the collars and hair are plastics. I really want hades😭
$100 for dolls with plastic accessories and no real embroidery? i have dolls that have real embroidery and actual feathers instead of plastic that only cost me about $40

Yzmas mask is her face because she’s very selfish and when Kuzco is gone she get her face done everywhere in the kingdom and palace. I think it’s very fitting.

And not only hands, if you look closely, you can see that she has a different body! (Look at the shoulder, looks different from the classic body type of Disney store dolls)
Also I want basic dolls of the Evil queen, Lady Tremaine and Ursula with her two arms with articulations, almost like the last one that was maded but without sing. (And Vanessa, of course)
Subjective opinion: My favorite dress design is the one that wears Lady Tremaine.

The best ones are Yzma and Hades, the worst is Maleficent, she just doesn't look like herself for some reason. On the other hand, I'm VERY sure Lady Tremaine wouldn't be showing any amount of leg, otherwise she looks pretty cool.

That Evil Queen doll looks so much like Regina from Once Upon A Time how ironic. And Hades is my favorite Disney villain and he looks awesome.
I really like Lady Tremaine's dress and the Evil Queen looks like Queen Narissa from Enchanted.
Yzma should have feathers in her headdress. Why do we even have that lever? Ursula’s Flotsam and Jetsam should be like a boa or one of those fox/stoat/ermine scarves with the head one 3nd and the tail at the other and to close it, you put the tail in the mouth. Evil Queen would look better with burgundy/deeper red ruffles with the black on her dress, and everyone needs actual embroidery on their cloaks etc, especially for that price!
