Hmm.. Maybe you haven't heard of other new stuff like She Past Away and Lebanon Hanover. These guys also have the dark wave vibes of the 80's. Although Drab Majesty tops them all.

I just visited that museum two weeks ago and told the girl that sold me the ticket about this video, and she said NO WAY!!! I love them! Not sure when she started working there but she immediately searched for this video. I'm 43 and she was about 25 so I had a cool moment there. Fan Forever!!!

I just absolutely love the guitar playing on drab majesty
What really strikes me as excellent about Drab Majesty is how well they succeed in taking the one-person-made studio versions of their songs - which are beautiful - and present them live as a duo with a couple of surprising changes that work very well indeed. They make it worthwhile to listen to both the studio and the live versions of their songs, providing ample recognition among the two versions and plenty of differences to appreciate.
If only I had half the creative talent of Andrew/Deb, I would consider myself lucky!
Audiotree: you did a wonderful job by bringing together this band and this location. The feel is magnificent and although I am not usually someone who likes the handheld camera, nor the single-camera approach, I think this is the very best in this case! Plenty of creativity on your side regarding the visuals! The result is a powerful mix of visuals and music that I want to visit over and over again to experience. Thanks fo much for providing it so generously here!

I'd love to hear the guy talk about it. Not only is he playing it "left handed" but he doesn't use a pick either. I'm sure it's an interesting story
I am desperate to know about the tuning he uses. I'm trying to work out 'The Other Side' at the moment. I'm trying DADABE with a capo on fret 1. It doesn't seem too far off but I'm not sure.

I had seen a recommendation for Drab Majesty on a music post some where a few years ago. Came across The Demonstration full abum, and saved it to my Liked on YT. One day I'm listening to music and I guess I was riding, and focused but forgot to change the music queue. Dot In The Sky played about halfway through when It caught me off guard. I was like " Damn this song been playing and I haven't changed it, this shit sounds really good". Been a fan of Drab/VRSex since. Great band, great music. This performance is exceptional if I may add

Iam just discovering thanks to a fellow youtuber with similar taste in music. I mean where do I begin. Iam a stone cold 80's kid! Fan of the music, movies, fashion. DM encompasses the 80's vibe 100% definitely a new fan! Truly touches the soul!
This is THE best music find of 2018! I gave up on a lot of hope in music but I can say I am glad I left my auto play on cause somehow it went from the Birthday Massacre into Drab Majesty after listening the other day. Drab Majesty is really awesome! I hope we can get the Cold Souls video too at some point.
TBM are also a great 80s vibe band, even with the use of Metal riffs
