      1986 z-28 swapped 327 auto @16yrs old
      1992 25th anniversary RS 5.0 5speed @18yrs old.
The z was my 1st car. I didn't have it long before someone hit me and totalled it, but the wheels and the stance of that thing. wooo doggy!! In 1998 I felt like the luckiest kid!.
I have always loved these body style camaro's.
And this blue one is absolutely sick brother... what a great build. I'd have loved to have this back in my early 20s.

You can always go gen lV aluminum 5.3 , they are getting cheap especially with the AFM lifters going out on them and you also get the nicer 243 heads . Picked up two engines last month . One complete engine for $700 and another long block for $300 . As for strength these things are super beefy with siamese and thick bores and ofcourse the beefier internals . Keep an eye out for them, it'll help you drop 100lbs of the nose that'll definitely help in the handling department .

I love your car and your work, but with my current family budget situation, I need to go a different way. I have a 92 RS with a T5 (Will swap for a T56 like yours in a near future) and a 305. My route will be a pair of EQ Vortec 305 cylinder heads (Comes with screw-in studs instead of pushed-in ones), an Edelbrock Air-Gap Vortec Intake Manifold, an LT1 Z28 Camshaft, a 454 TBI unit (650 CFM) with Police Package 5.7 injectors, programmable flash ECU and will swap the 10 bolt (Open diff) for a BW 9 bolt. I'm expecting to get at least 375 to 400 HP out of my setup, but if I can reach 350 HP that will do it.

the aero wing as gm calls it. is actually a decent story. since gm had just lost the iroc name rights to dodge, the aero wing is a nod back to the 1st gen trans am racing series cars. if you research deep enough, you'll find some of the 1st gen racing packages had a wing very similar to it.
for me. I got a blue 91z manual used in late 93 and loved the look from the first time I drove by the dealers back in 91 or 92 and they had a line of these out front brand new. I do wish we had cell phones with cameras back then. would have made for cool pics to look back on.
