Bellator had some of the worst advertising ever. There's times they've had fights that I would have been interested in and I don't even hear about it until the Monday after when the podcasts are making their rounds.
@@BigWaveTrader No it's not and it's why Bellator failed miserably. This isn't an "original" idea by me, I've heard it said many times. It shouldn't be on the fan to dig and find stuff when some basic advertising would do wonders. There's a reason why their business failed lol
@Synthetic-Rabbit 100% agree, that and changing between Friday, Thursday, Saturday, back and forth never helped either. Only time they crept into mainstream was when they went to Hawaii and the chatter was "why doesn't rhe ufc go to Hawaii"
Dana is a casual gets mad when grapplers are boring what sport are you a promoter of idiot mma boring jiu-jitsu guys are unfortunately part of that he should suck it up or go promote boxing instead since he loves it so , boxing can be boring too
@@cbolton81 the difference is he didnt lose, and he finished people. Had he lost to connor dana would have cut him, dana doesnt like wrestlers that can mess up him marketing strikers. Might be the funniest thing I've ever heard. So you're getting paid very well, but you care about who's watching? Who cares who's watching 😂? All I would care about is my bank statement. Some fighters are always complaining about something.
Yes from your point of view but after you’re good on money, you’re gonna want something a little deeper or at the very least, something more meaningful. It’s human nature, there’s something that is within you, that when it senses a boundary, it wants to breech it.
You have to understand rampage and gilbert and jake shields were the nate diaz and connors of their time obviously on a much smaller scale but they were the 2nd wave of pioneers and to the eyes of most of us the 1st wave because mma is so young ufc is so young of a sport so like he said you go from 60,000 to 5,000 its normal human conditioning for you to feel demotivated
I agree the egotistical a funny thing. How it gets used to it. I don't fight but I perform. To perform in front of 5000 would be huge. But he is so used to 60 000. Crazy
@rotyler2177 K-1 is back. K-1 is making a comeback this year. Sure, it's not at the level that it was, but it's definitely going in the right direction. This last K-1 MAX tournament was solid, and had some top 10 fighters. The WGP tournament is definitely starting from scratch though. So definitely watch K-1. Also watch Glory and Rise, they are the other 2 major kickboxing promotions. ONE has kickboxing but they have become a more of a Muay Thai promotion.
He left because he wasn’t good enough to be a top guy, if you’re not a contender, you need to be entertaining, and he is not that either. So, if you’re not the champ or the guy that brings in eyes and money, you go somewhere else.
I like Rampage, but come on bruh…you’re the podcast host with your name on it…admitting that after all these years you don’t know TJ’s weight class, let alone O’malley’s is inexcusable ignorance. Crazy idea. Print out the weight divisions on a sheet of paper, since he probably doesn’t know computers exist despite having a show on the internet, then read the names of the top 15. I know 8 divisions is a lot of paper. Stop saying “ I didn’t know that” … or take your name off the logo to your podcast. This is terrible.
Rampage is a beast
Jake on a podcast - "Yea ya know mma"
Jake on X - "THE JEWS!"
Accurate af lol.

That’s more your fault. If you were interested enough in the fighters to watch them fight, you’d know that they’re fighting 😊

Love the honesty
I miss the scrap pack
They just had a fighter fight last Saturday
My Nephew went from King of Cage to Belator to LFC to UFC to PFL and back to LFC then back to UFC
The fight game is something else i tell you 😂
Dana probably didn’t like Jake cause his fights sucked. He was good but he’d talk smack then lay and pray
Dana cant stand grapplers, if you dont go out and brawl like a caveman he cuts you as soon as you lose.

@@timothycarey3883that’s false. Dana loves Khabib. And Khabib is a crotch sniffer of a fighter.

More than likely it’s because of sponsorships. If they don’t watch the fighter repping their products they are useless marketing.
They can only pay you so well without filling arenas only for so long.

Only the most known fighters where getting paid in Bellator but the roster is so little so it was possible
if nobody is watching you ain't getting paid

He literally beat Tyron Woodley right before he became champ. Jake was just a boring fighter.
His career in the UFC didn’t live up to the hype to be honest. He was good but staled in the big league
Yes! Mix is a killer!
Jake shield was literally the most boring fighter ever lived
🎯
He's striking is terrible like Ben askrens
He left because he knew he can’t complete with those guys and would get beat almost every time.
Why does Jake sound ok but on Twitter just seems unhinged asf
Bro hes WILD on X. Dude constantly talking about Israel and shit 😂
You would think he’s unhinged for his opinions, that’s the whole point. It’s what keeps you submitted.
Because twitter is a diary of your most angry thoughts lol. Also, it's an echo chamber so it slowly makes your more radical.

Earns more money but crying because no attention fighters are overrated and over paid
Overpaid, boring, failed drug tests- why would they keep him? He was brought over to UFC for an easy win for GSP vs a champion
