Gotta disagree greatly with Luke's early assessment. Jiri ALWAYS fights with his hands low, because he baits you out with distance management, and it's given him great success vs everyone except Pereira. Both Alex AND Jiri use low hands with mastery of distance management. They BOTH use certain old school Karate and Kungfu methods in their overall game. Luke forgets that Sean Strickland always keeps his hands high and he STILL got destroyed by Pereira.
Let's go to the logic of the intelligent Jiri lost to Poatan because his style is bad But his style is not good because he has been undefeated since 2015. Apart from Poatan, NO ONE COULD beat Jiri Jiri's style is excellent. Poatan is in a totally different moment, that's all Jiri with his style has 15 wins, 13 KO, 1 submission and only one decision since 2015 Poatan will probably end his career as the best and greatest knockout artist in MMA history. Jiri was unlucky to fight someone so dangerous twice in 8 months
@@gavinma4831 I'm not necessarily saying Jiri is ALREADY a master at the moment. What I am saying is that Jiri's long term goal as a martial artist is get closer to mastery of distance and timing. The fact that Pereira is training with Glover whose an elite grappler/wrestler probably still at his age, that is going really help vs opponents like Ankalaev, Aspinall and Jones.

Pereira not only has lots of power in his strikes but he's very good technically with very good agility and he's a accurate striker. First wise thing from this Chad of a man
He not lying tho. I said it in the fight, jiri was tryna fight patient against a way better and patient striker

TJ is great at analyzing, everytime I listen to him, I learn.
TJ would be a better commentator than everyone on the commentator broadcast right now.
He's doing a great job, fr
Deadass tho 💯
TJ needs to coach or hold a post fight commentary like Volk. TJ just knows his stuff. Have to to win in 3 years of training

He is a steroid cheat. Anything he accomplished is now worthless
Quite opposite tho. Winning in 3 years wouldn’t equate to knowledge more like natural god given talent.
